Published in 1986, 'Julia Margaret Cameron' is an illustrated biography of a pioneer from the early days of photography. The biographical details are at times sparse, and concentrate mainly on her eccentricity, just enough to make things interesting when it could have so easily made very dry reading. Over 50 of her photo images illustrate to book to give a glimpse of what she was capable of. For anyone interested in the early days of photography, the detail makes great reading.
