This was a beautiful little book about turtles and tortoises of the world, done by the incredibly gifted artist Katherine Blackmore. The text isn't much, but does note that beaches need rotuine clean-ups to help save sea turtles.
The only thing that I really didn't like to see were five young red-eared sliders in a tank that looked way too small for them. Some people might not like to see large sea turtles in zoo aquariums opened to the public, since they seem to be on the outs in pop culture.
