Optimistic!

I really enjoyed this book! I think the author is like myself in that he must also be quite a dreamer! What’s wrong with that? The book is about an attitude. If you think that America had a lot to offer in the past, and would like to reintroduce what was lost back into your life, then you’ll want to get this book. I think you will enjoy this book, too.

Arktos conned a prematurely-doddering old man (he's not even THAT old) into padding out their catalog with gormless ramblings, most of which operate on the premise that retro is a fresh, new idea. Doesn't even have much in the way of entertaining hateful ranting in it. I'd be more mad if I paid money for it, but mostly, I'm just surprised to find a depth a fascist press like Arktos would sink to that I hadn't already anticipated. Race hate is one thing. Exploiting the elderly is another.
