Master and his beautiful minions have finally eliminated the evil mage Tuzakeur, and now they must find the last relic pieces and free Rana’s family. The quest should be easy, but it is soon revealed that the gods have a horrible plan that they have already put in motion.
Looking Forward to This Series Ending I'll read the last one, just because 7 books in, might as well, but these stories have gotten less and less interesting. There's no cohesive magic system, no limits on powers, no real risk for main characters, and exhaustingly repetitive internal dialogs about how Master is so wonderful and caring. Ugh.
Master decides to marry Carmedy to cement his ruler ship over cat people islands.
Despite being over 600 years old, Heijing Has had a little life experience. She quickly reveals that she expects to get more than companionship out of her relationship with Master.
Heijing pushes Master to reveal his identity to all the woman and works to cement her role as consort an advisor. They visit dragon society ruins.
The party splits up with Haruhi and Morrigan going with Master. Off to find the last two sacred artifacts.
Find dungeon of god of wine and easily dispatch him.
Heijing guides Master to the spirit realm where he visits his first lost love Isolda.
Master’s first team lands on an island in disguise. One suspicious group in the city challenges them, and master says that he will fight with his hands to keep up their disguise. Briefly excited that will actually see him take some damage in the fight, but of course he is using god powers before the first blow falls.
His group makes it to the dungeon of Athar and Morrigan shows of a new spell creating a dragon that can breath fire. Do you spell was turned from a book provided by Haruhi. Morrigan learns Master’s true identity.
The other group calls for help and Master transfers to them in a matter of seconds. They are in a fight with another guard so Master quickly kills the god. Heijing took some serious damage in the fight.
They find a book with all the information on how to bring down the Holy Order’s fortress.
Otia the truth telling brother who betrayed Master is defanged and captured.
Master jumps to his other body with other group to reclaim Rana’s family.
Oh I can't wait for the culmination of all masters plans and effort. I hope they all end up pregnant and fighting the gods! I'm excited for the next book! I love the Audible as well!
I really liked the split up and the difference of this book to the others!! I wanted more with the powers but i feel content with how it is. On to the next one!!!
Really enjoy this series, I was not particularly impressed with book 1 as the MC seemed way too OP and arrogant, but beside a few outbursts he seems to have grown into a character you can mostly get behind. His occasional evil streaks still give me pause about what the ending in the next book could hold, but I must trust that the girls will keep him in line and Eric will give a proper ending to the series. Hopefully this means Without Law will get more writing time. Keep it up Eric.
Why be The evil God and not want to kill All The members of The Holy Order. Those 'do gooder's' have been hurting the world for their own profit for too long with no one standing up to them. Then here comes the worst and most Evil God to save the world.was a fun read,,, Give Me More!!!
I love this series one of my favorites of this author, I just wished he finished it in one go instead of releasing a book for a bunch of series. Although the Dragon King(I think that's the one) that just came out is pretty good.
You can tell that there series is coming to a close. The energy in the book is all headed towards a final conflict. With his minions t his side it seems Master will stop at nothing until his goals have been realized. Can't wait for the next
Honestly less a fan of this than I used to be. The women seem so fake and dependent. Since they can't joke with him and it is more master and slave, just not as entertaining.
