I don't leave home without this book. I really like the Restaurant/Fast Food and International Foods sections (very handy if you live in a city like Los Angeles with a big diversity in cuisines). I also like the diabetes discussion section. Very thorough, covers everything from ketchup to all kinds of beer.

If you're planning to begin this book, I would recommend you visit WebMDs BMI Calculator Plus tool to get an initial analysis of your caloric needs. I wouldn't recommend the Food & Exercise journal as you can easily use an excel worksheet for this purpose for free.

Ok, this doesn't really count as a 'reading' book but I've probably read the entire thing. I keep it in my purse. Best little food book on the planet.

This is a great little pocket edition that I keep in my purse or in the car for when I eat out. It doesn't have everything, but it definitely makes me feel more confident in my choices.
