We always hope that someone can accompany, understand and communicate. After all, it is hard to breathe when facing the pressure of all aspects of reality, and have experienced a series of injuries and disappointments. Some people simply want physical comfort and short-term joy. Yu, those empty promises and future feelings are just extra imaginations in life.
The author bluntly talks about the acrimonious aspects of the flesh, infidelity, and sex, whether the meaning of feeling lies in "understanding" or adding "accompaniment". The six emotional stories in the book slowly tell the confusion, anxiety, and loneliness of modern people. In the time and again of passion, I find the emptiness in my heart and understand what can be filled in it.
With the lover’s name running through the entire collection, in many rural tales, it is believed that a person’s real name has absolute power, and the name seems to be sincere. The same words are spoken by different people, but they are far from each other in their ears. The emotions in it are self-evident, but the goodwill of two people will not be the existence of ancient times, and will wither, be injured, or even die.
But also because of getting along, loving each other and then cherishing each other, I gradually learned how to talk about feelings, "understand" how to love oneself, and learned that the best "accompaniment" comes from the abundance in the heart, and the emptiness comes from the uneasiness of the current situation, surrender The love that chooses to compromise in reality is just an illusion after inflation. 六個短篇故事，最後四篇的主角有關聯性。
《足跡》。已婚婦人藉由婚外男子的「未真槍實彈」的性服務，重新體會溫厚丈夫和穩定婚姻的重要。
《蛇貓奇譚》。以家貓的角度看待女主人懷孕生子，罹患產後憂鬱症的過程。
《你並不知道》，正在籌辦婚禮的女子愛上一夜情的英俊上班族男子，兩人持續著的關係讓她擺盪在應該遵從心底的聲音還是維持理智選擇人生道路。而兩名男子，未婚夫和一夜情對象，即使肌膚相親，卻都並不知道女子的輾轉心思。
《只有我不知道》。以前篇與女子一夜情男主角的角度延續故事。女子的未婚夫找上門來後，才知道自己對女子意義是「比逢場作戲還要多一點什麼」。然而直到得知女子毀婚、搬離東京，讀著女子寫著俳句的小卡，才發現在不知不覺中，這個女人決定結束「愛上自己」了。
《寒夜》。小日本料理店的老闆喜歡上年輕女老師常客，不善言辭的近中年大叔總是默默觀察，無所表示，直到有日醉客騷擾女孩，老闆出手護衛幾乎崩潰的女孩。本以為經歷事件後兩人關係會有所突破，不料鼓起勇氣邀約的老闆竟碰了拒絕的軟釘子。就在內心波瀾的大叔以為今生無望時，寒夜中女孩站在店門外等著他。
《你情人的名字》。和母親關係不睦又找不到人生方向的女孩，獲上班族菁英哥哥金援到澳門自由行。漸漸克服在異地不知所措的恐懼和種種意外後回到日本，馬上與國中好友約在她男朋友的日本料理店見面。年輕女孩從獨自的異國旅行中獲得前所未有的勇氣和自信，也替一直以來鼓勵她的好友終於邁出大步，交到大叔當男朋友。
第三和第四個故事，是一對男女在發生肉體關係後的兩面心情；最後兩個故事的女主角是中學好友，出國旅行的女孩是一夜情男主角的妹妹。四個明明是短篇卻又因人物關係突然成了有延續作用的「類」長篇，看起來頗有意思。一直覺得這種「兩個位當事人的不同說法」，或者「每個主角都是前一個故事的某位配角」的安排，跟人生的道理好像—在他人的人生中作客，但在自己的人生主場裡，永遠可以活得像閃亮的超級巨星。

情感處理得非常細膩，讓人讀著有種淡淡的哀愁美感。讓人讀的覺得心裡憋著一口惡氣，遲遲無法一吐為快，但不妨仔細體會那種怨天尤人的美。
