In my present Days of Beginning German I thought I'd listen to Schubert'songs and try to pick up a bit some vocab from listening and reading the original lyrics. Now I have become more curious about the origins of the songs-the poets and the who, where when, what of it all.
I'm not learning much German I feel but I sure am enjoying these beautiful songs and their backgrounds.
