Once trash. Once again...I gobbled I right up.

There were shifters.
There was smut.
There was a bully trope.
There was groveling.

There was me...swooning in delight.
Sophia Triad
Enemies to lovers and bully trope. One of my favourite combinations.
So, if you add to this mix shifters and in particular wolves, what's not to love?

Cole Muchmore is
A) successful football player
B) popular
C) an absolute bully when it comes to Bailey and
D) a wolf. Actually most students in Wolf Ridge High are wolves.

What is Cole problem?
Why did he make Bailey, an inexperienced shy virgin, his enemy?
Why does he treat her like unwanted trush?

Bailey knows nothing about wolves. She is the new girl

Bailey is the new girl in town, and to say she doesn't fit in at her new school would be an understatement. Wolf Ridge residents don't like outsiders, and from day one, her fellow classmates treat her like a piece of barely visible, unwanted trash. Well, most of them do anyway.

Cole Muchmore, a popular football player at Wolf Ridge High, takes a special interest in Bailey. He enjoys tormenting her every chance he gets, and unfortunately for her, he's also her next door neighbor. Cole isn't the o

AHHH! Anyone who knows me knows that Bully Romance is my jam. But coupled with Renee Rose's paranormal shifter goodness. GOOD LORD - what a combination. I FLOVED this story. It was uber sexy, swoony and had such a strong and sassy heroine. I loved Cole and Bailey so much!

I have been a fan of Renee Rose's Alpha Bad Boy shifter series for a while but when I saw she was writing a shifter bully story I could not jump on this story fast enough! OMG was this story hot. Cole was so addicting! I sat up

Why is this being romanticized or any book with bullying for that matter?
Do you think bullying is romantic when there’s kids committing suicide because they are being bullied every day?
Are you that sick?

I’m her weakness. Just like she’s mine.

If you like shifters and bully romance, then you will love alpha bully. This book isn’t some serious emotional love story, it’s sort of that fun OTT jerky alpha that reluctantly falls for the heroine. If you go into this one expecting it to follow all the “romance rules” you’ll be disappointed. If you’re looking for an entertaining read that you may feel a little torn about enjoying, then this is where it’s at.

Can’t wait to see if we get more! I want Rayne

This is definitely one of those “it gets better after you read more” books. Even saying that, there wasn’t really anything spectacular about it. We have the typical heroine and asshole guy who eventually fall in love. I thought we would get something different since there was a paranormal spin on it, but not really.

The reason I’m giving this 3 stars is because I’m a sucker for smut and the scenes here quite steamy.

Only Renee Rose can sweet talk me into trying a bully romance. Even with that, I reserve the right to DNF this if it gets too bully-ish.

I can't get with the bully romance idea because - just on GP (General Principle) - treating me like shit guarantees you do not get the pussy. It's an automatic reaction. Asshole ≠ Pussy.

So, let's see what Ms Rose has cooking for us today.

Why am I reading this? Because Renee Rose.
Why would I [normally] NOT read this? I have a bunch of reasons to
It all started when a human came into a shifter town.

Alpha Bully reminded me of the whole girl next door kind of forbidden romance. Never read a wolf shifter book where it was against the rules to date a human. I have, however, read a couple of books were the shifters did have to be super careful when it came to sex because of the whole baby thing.

Ugh, baby fever.

Yet, I would've been complete down if Bailey and Cole did accidently mate and had a baby. Totally would've been down for all that jaz

It was only recently that I discovered a fondness for bully romances. I know they turn off a lot of people, but let me explain why I like books like this one. Cole comes across as a true alpha-hole, totally unredeemable. Until you get to know him, understand why he’s acting that way toward Bailey. Not that I condone bullying at any point, because I don’t. However, getting a look at what’s going on in his life off page so to speak, makes him seem more approachable as the hero of a romance. I like ...more

This book was so delicious. It reminded me if my years in high school with the different social groups so much, except I don't think we had wolf shifters.
Cole and Bailey are 2 characters who define opposites attract. They are the most unlikely couple because first of all Cole hates her for reasons she can't understand and secondly the whole wolf shifter thing.
Renee Rose's books are always entertaining and fun to read. Her characters have depth and real emotions and problems.

Recommends it for: 18+
Note: An ARC was provided generously in exchange for an honest review.
Another Note: The age limit for reading this novel is 18+ as it touches on mature topics and ideas.

“She’s mine to torment and I’m going to enjoy the f*&k out of it.” (Cole Munchmore, sounds like a breakfast cereal name combined with a biker gang first name, but whatever).

And torment he did, especially me from reading this novel. Moving on....

My version of this story:

We first meet our heroine Bailey, who's an outcast at her

Somethings in this book I liked, and other parts of the books were real no-goes for me.

I mean Bailey is a teenager, and a sexually inexperienced virgin who it seems has been ostracized by everyone around her except for her bully who is obsessed with her. (Even though it was his doing she's cool with being kept on the down low?)

Seriously, the whole letting someone sexually humiliate you and punish you because you feel guilty about (view spoiler)

First of all i love shifter books, and I love books about alpha bullies as well. And this one i knew that I was not going to like Cole, he was a total
Bailey just moved in next door to Cole and his family. However she didn't understand why no one liked her, why she was being ostrasized by everyone. Until she learned that her mother 'stole' her next door neighbour's job. And even though she is hurt by the fact that Cole and his friends are making her life hell, she also can't deny tha

What a pleasant surprise. Bully romance seems to be the new sub-genre these days but this one takes it to a different area because it is more than just that it is also a shifter romance. It made for a new experience because it is not something that I had read before. This author wrote one of my favorite shifter romance series and I was glad that she had ventured into this because she was meshing the two worlds.

Fantastic steamy times, characters, and also leaving open to start a new seri

Cole hates Bailey because her mom "stole" her dad's job and he now has to deal with an abusive, alcoholic father at home. He bullies her when he gets the chance but can't help the attraction he feels for her.

Bailey moved to Wolf Ridge High because of her past. Even though Cole bullies her, he helps her out when she's faced with a situation at school and shows his support. When they become start to become involved, they have to be secretive because Cole's father and pack can't know they're dating

A great start to a new series by a favourite author of mine.
I liked the dynamics of the book and how Cole and the other teenage shifters grew.

There were some pretty unfair prejudices in this society which the pack needs to attend to; the treatment of Rayne, Cole and Casey's father, pack attitude to humans in the world they live in, attitude to Bailey's mother - whose arrival basically saved the town.
I hope that as this is a series that some of this gets addressed.

I really felt this story finishe

Alpha Bully by Renee Rose is the First book in the Wolf Ridge High Series. This is the story of Cole Muchmore and Bailey Sanchez.
Bailey has just transferred to Wolf Ridge High to finish out her school year. But she quickly becomes the punching bag of the school. Cole is the start quarterback of the school and a alpha male of his group. Cole blames Bailey for her what her mother has done to his he has revenge in mind now that she is at his school. This was a pretty good book. The thing is, Renee Rose is known for her more erotic books, While this is a YA Paranormal Bully book, it's erotic. So not suitable for kids under 18, sorry about it. I did really love the story, and even when I wasn't reading I was thinking about this book. There is nothing complicated about this book, the author leaves it all out there for you to read.
There is angst, as any good bully high school book has, I mean...really it's the bread and butter of the genre. Thi

I'll admit it, I'm a Renee Rose fan and she's one of my one-click authors. So this "Alpha Bully" title in a High School series had me a bit apprehensive. You know, I've far surpassed the age of high school romances being my thing, but being a loyal fan I wanted to at least give it a shot and I'm so glad I did. She gave us HOT shifters, a vulnerable human, tragedy, angst, lies, secrets, and a HOT chemistry that ran throughout the book and just kept building. This is definitely not your average H ...more
Cole Muchmore hates his next door neighbor. She has caused nothing but torment by his father since the her mother stole his job. Bailey has no idea why Cole bullies her, nor does she understand why the whole school seems to have it in for her. She goes about her day just trying to get by though. Cole though cant stop his attraction to Bailey and when he acts on it he wants to keep it secret, but what happens when it all comes out?

This was really good. Cole was a total jerk and his anger was aime

This is one of the best bully romance story I have read this year. I love Bailey a young girl trying to make it through a new town in school. And then we meet Cole alpha bully who wants to make bailey life miserable. But even bullies can be redeemed and fates can change. I really enjoyed this book I couldn't put it down the story plot was written well and I am so invested in these characters and I am hoping that some of the secondary characters get there story told. A definite must read. Renee Rose is one of my favorite authors, and her shifter books are fantastic. I generally do not go for the younger, coming of age books but was glad I took the chance. Really shouldn’t have been concerned based on this author’s talents. In fact, this book while tying into her Alpha series had a totally different feel in that it was more emotionally driven with the storyline providing the perfect backdrop to the angst and tension with a healthy dose of filthy sizzle to hea ...more

I'm not going to read it, so I'm not rating it.
I'm just wondering why with all this five star HONEST reviews we have ZERO details of the story.
No spoilers, no details whatsoever.
First, let me say that although this is a spin-off of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone.

I decided to read this, my first "bully" romance, with a lot of trepidation. I honestly am not a fan of the current popular sub-genres in BDSM right now -- shifter, mafia, and bully -- for two reasons. First, whenever a sub-genre becomes popular, it then gets done to death (every BDSM/DD author out there currently has a shifter or mafia or shifter/mafia book -- even those who shouldn't). Secondly, and

I will be the first person to tell you that I don't like anything having to do with high school. I hated high school when I was in it, I hate going through it again with my children, and I don't usually pick up any book that is set in one. I also don't like high school bullying because living through it once was more than enough. So you might be wondering why I even bothered to read this... The answer is because it is Renee Rose and I will at least try to read everything she writes. And it's a s ...more

I enjoyed this enormously so for that alone I'm giving it 5 stars,

I do have a few comments and suggestions, however:

The characters here are all age, but oh my they are a randy 18, trust. I wouldn't consider this a YA novel...I mean, I would have read this as YA but then again I'm not the world's best role model around typical sexuality, eh? As for your high school characters, Cole is not only the star quarterback, he is a 5 star a-$man. I can only wish I'd been able to find a man this young and

I'm wondering “how do I put into words what I just went through?” I spent the first half of the book not really sure if I was going to be able to get past the ‘bully’ aspect. I don’t like bullies. Especially in a young or new adult setting, they take me back to memories I’d prefer to leave buried. But the story and writing are so compelling I couldn't stop reading once I started. This book took me to places I wouldn’t have gone willingly if I’d been paying attention to the warning signs – it pus ...more
