This volume was INTENSE. Forget slow build-up—this one’s packed with action, goosebumps, and moments that made me feel like a proud parent watching Klein grow (??? even though I’ve never been one 🤣). When he advanced to Scholar of Yore, I was just sitting there like: my boy… look at you… sniff sniff.
Also, I take back every time I said “I want Amon.” No. Nope. Never again. That fight with Klein was pure nightmare fuel. This guy is scary in ways I didn’t even imagine, pulling unexpected moves like—please, PLEASE, just stop appearing. Honestly, I’m terrified and so not ready for the next volume 😭.
My favorite part though? When Mr. World, Mr. Star, and Miss Justice explored Groselle’s Travels. The castle that projects inner thoughts… PLEASE. I was laughing so hard my sister thought I’d lost it. Miss Audrey finally seeing Mr. World’s “other side”—HAAHAHAHA priceless.
The Giant King’s Court expedition had me shaking. Ancient, eerie, and epic—it’s everything I love, and I can’t wait for more expeditions. And Little Sun?? Adorable. (p/s: he’s my favorite Tarot Club member, don’t @ me.) Bread mushrooms lover, chugging milk for growth—sir, how much taller do you need to be, Derrick?? He’s the cutest.
No tears shed in this volume—only pride, fear, and goosebumps. Straight into Volume 6 I go, because I have to make sure Klein survives Amon’s hands.
