Rate this book
With so many people living beneath their potential, what could you say, what could you do, what should you understand, and who must you be to reach them? In this book, Manny teaches you how to develop the awareness, understanding, and skills to engage, equip, and empower the people you want to reach. Based on his own life experiences, his work and interactions with over 2,000,000 people in 49 states and 5 continents, and on his doctoral studies, Manny teaches you how to develop real relationships with people across cultural, racial, political, and religious divides. He shows you how to capture and keep the attention of your audiences, large or small. He teaches you how to persuade people to take proactive steps to improve the quality of their lives; and, so much more! You will learn approaches that others used to reach Manny, and tools you can begin using immediately to reach others so they can reach their potential.

This book is a hot mess. It is littered with typos and occasionally points to a table or graph that doesn’t exist. My AP chose this book for our staff to read for Professional Development . If I wasn’t getting PD credit for reading it I would have stopped after chapter one. The reader is CONSTANTLY reminded about how far Manny Scott has come since his gang banging days accompanied with not so subtle flexes about his success and wealth. Scattered within a few of the chapters are some good thought exercises, but overall a frustrating read.
