Ms. Eaton has such a gift in writing her stories. She can write love stories, intriguing police stories and even werewolf stories that you can’t put down. This new series had me so intrigued with the story, I couldn’t put it down. Charlotte is such a strong woman raising a five year old daughter by herself. She had a couple traumatic experiences in her past that make her leery of strangers. I can understand why and my heart went out to her. I was so glad she has a wonderful older woman to watch ...more

From trauma to trust and love, read on as we follow these relatable characters on their path of discovery and hope that they get their HEA. I cannot wait to read more from this series!

A cute, fast paced story. Charlotte is a single mother of an adorable girl. Wesley is a caring pediatrician looking for the right woman to start a family with. Wesley's reactions to her "secrets" are over-the-top for the single date they've been on. The attraction is there, but they barely know each other and he is immediately hyper-critical of her supposed behaviors. She has given him no reason to react as he does. ...more

This is a great story about overcoming adversity and Wesley is just the right match for Charlotte although the story moved a little too quickly for me.

What a joy to read, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very well written. A book to curl up in front of the fire with.

Charlotte was a single parent and overly protective of her daughter, Marisol. Charlotte was at the playground with her friend Jersey and her son, when her coffee was spilt down her shirt. She asked Jersey to watch Marisol while she went to see if she had a spare shirt in her car as she was going straight to work after she had dropped Marisol with her minder. She was so para

This book introduces us not only ER Doctor, Wesley Young, but also his family. Individuals that are sure to have a story in the future.
Wesley is very dedicated to his work and loves kids. On a morning run by the local park , he sees a little girl fall from the monkey bars and immediately goes to her aid. Her mom, Charlotte Bennett, at first distressed when she can’t find her daughter, becomes a mama bear when she sees a man touching her daughter. She goes on the offensive by assaulting him and d

He grew up in a loving home and family is very important to him and his siblings. Wesley is a pediatric doctor at the local hospital.

Jumping to conclusions both Dr Wes and Charlotte make assumptions that almost cost them the best gift life could offer them. Seeing Wes with her daughter makes Charlotte furious and brings forth an overreaction she is not proud of. Having to depend on the good doctor when the injury her daughter Marisol suffers is more serious than first suspected, Charlotte realises just how wrong she has been. However, as the attraction between Wes and Charlotte grows, he comes to a point where he wonders whet ...more

Wow, what an amazing story with compassion, suspense, tenderness and understanding. Charlotte had a tough life growing up, she was kidnapped at the age of 7, raped in college and left alone and then pregnant. She has raised her daughter by herself and when she sees a strange man crouched down and talking to her child on the playground, she goes all “mama bear” and knocks the man off his feet. Only later after Marisol has a reaction from falling off the high apparatus at the park and wouldn’t wak ...more

Wesley is the first book in the Loving A Young series. I loved Wes and Charlotte's story. This book hits you in the feels. It's steamy and emotional. Wes is a pediatric trauma doctor and comes from a large family. He hopes to one day find someone to settle down with and have a large family of his own. He's one the middle children in his family and when he falls, he falls hard. Charlotte has a lot of trauma in her past that makes trusting difficult, but Wes makes her feel safe. Will she trust him ...more

Charlotte and her five-year-old daughter Marisol are at the park when Charlotte sees a man bending down and talking to Marisol. Charlotte loses it and barrels into the man and screaming that she was going to call the police. The man is Wes and he is a doctor. What Charlotte didn't know was that Marisol had taken a tumble from bars and hit her head. Later, after Marisol is rushed to the hospital by the babysitter, Wes just happens to be her treating doctor. What an utterly fabulous story. Loved i ...more

Wesley and Charlotte will warm your hearts in this story. Charlotte has trust issues especially when it comes to strangers. When a man is kneeling over her daughter, Charlotte goes in to protective mode striking out at the man. He will be the same one that she comes across when her daughter is rushed to the hospital. Through it all Wesley and Charlotte will navigate a journey that will take them from mistrust to love all the while having you in their corner cheering them on to a happily ever aft ...more

Wesley is trying to help Marisol, the daughter of Charlotte, after a fall at the park. Charlotte thinks Marisol is being attacked. She learns the truth of who Wesley is and when he is no longer their doctor they start a relationship. This is the first book in the series and it is wonderful. The writing is good and the story was very entertaining and I was hooked and had to find out what happens next. The characters are wonderful and realistic. Great story.

Charlotte is a single mom, with an adorable daughter, who suffered two horrible incidents in her life.
Wesley is a pediatric trauma doctor in the ED.
The two meet when he witnesses Marisol falling off the jungle gym. Their first meeting is rough but they are drawn to each other.
This is a love at first sight story with a quick HEA. There is some drama and a huge misunderstanding.
The story flows well.
This is an honest voluntary review.

Wesley is the first book in Stacy Eaton’s Loving a Young series and not what I expected as I continued reading. Overall, I liked the concept, and the ending was super sweet, but there were moments throughout the storyline that I waited for things to happen, that never transpired. For me this story had too many holes and I’m not sure if I’ll read book two.

This is the 3rd book I've read written by Stacy Eaton; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

This is the 1st book of the Loving a Young Series; Charlotte was traumatized in the past so when she sees Wesley touching her daughter she reacts before she realizes whats going on. Later when she at the hospital with Marisol, Wesley is the doctor on staff.

Charlotte has been through a lot in her life and she distrust strangers. When her precious five years old daughter Marisol falls in the park her world turns upside down. Is it possible to turn a tragedy into one of the best things in her life? Can Handsome and caring Dr. Young treat Marisol and heal Charlotte’s heart? Great story.

I really enjoyed "Wesley" by Stacy Eaton. I was lucky to receive a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I've enjoyed other series by this author so I was looking forward to this next series. This is another fun entertaining reading with great characters and a well-written storyline. This book was sweet, it was romantic, lots of chemistry in-between the two main characters, and a female that isn't afraid to kick some butt if she senses something isn't right. You will fall for Wesley quick, he is a sweet and romantic person who makes it hard to not fall.

I thought it had potential and started out with Wesley being a decent sort (doctor with a hero complex) but where he ended up with what Charlotte had gone through didn’t sit right with me.

A stirring account of a young woman who had been kidnapped at a young age, and then drug-raped while at college. She has no one to talk to, or even to support her when she found herself pregnant. Meeting a doctor who stirs her romantic interest leaves her floundering.

Not a farmboy!

Cannot help it-Wesley=farmboy.
But I digress. This is well crafted story.
They did a bit too much of jumping to conclusions, but thank heavens for family and friends!
I definitely understood her jumping off point, but I was ready to shake him.

Found one mistake. Damn instead of dam near the beginning. Not happy that the ‘villain’ was named Tom as that was my husband’s name... but... loved it. Hope I trip over the only one left which I don’t have in another box set
