I liked this book although readers of Faber/Mazlish books will find a lot of familiar material. The CBT based sections were quite valuable and the methodology has worked very well with the 8 year old but is taking some longer with sensitive 10 year old. However, I do think we will get there and she is already making some adjustments to her negative thought patterns. I like the fact the book is child centred and accepting of children's basic natures. In sum, a useful resource to have.

This is a really excellent beginners guide to cultivating positive psychology in your children. It has easy steps you can take. I took copious notes for when my boy is older and have found things I can begin fostering even now.
