Great finale

Yes, seriously, what a great ending to this mini spin-off from Mona’s story! And I will say again that it’s great that the books run in tandem with each other!

Daphne has been suffering from some side effects to the spell that they performed, but luckily one of her soon-to-be boyfriends is on hand to give a bit of assistance in controlling it. Plus problems with this damned jealous vampire are

Catching A Warlock is the final book in the Grimalkin Academy: Catacombs trilogy, and I’ve loved each of the 3 books in this series just as much as the other.

Daphne’s time at at the academy is full of adventures, magic and more, and this book continued with the great story and characters. I highly recommend the Grimalkin Academy: Catacombs reverse harem, paranormal academy series.

This is the third and final book in the Grimalkin Academy: Catacombs series and we get to see exactly what that spell that Daphne and her brother were looking for that would turn their family into cats. The side effects that Daphne has been having is quite funny and you get to watch as she tries to stop them from happening. While this may be the last book in the Catacombs series I can not wait to see more of these characters in the rest of the Grimalkin Academy series. I voluntarily reviewed a c ...more

I took one star off right away because these novellas are not stand-alone by any means. Luckily I was given a portmanteau volume of the entire series, which contains closure. There are tie-ins to roomie Mona's series, the Grimalkin Academy Kittens, which sometimes appear as loose plot lines, but not enough to be annoying. I wouldn't read those because there are six rather than three, not tolerable for a multi-volume arc that habitually leaves readers hanging.

Daphne is an extraordinary gifted you

I read the two previous books, so I bought the third book as well. The second one was the best of the series. This one was boring. We still don't know hove the boys look like or hove the academy look. The reverse harem is just a mater of arrangement here. No flirt, no jelosy no dates. It's all about Emma and her mean doing. The witches don't have familiars. The magic have no point. It was boring

Fun and entertaining story that l read in an afternoon. This book 3 was a gift that l enjoyed and an apt finish to the series.
This is the end of Daphne’s quirky side-adventure in the Obscure World. This picks up right around when the Catching a Wizard ended. They found it! Daphne and Ryan finally got their hands on the long lost family spell to transform into a cat. The spell was super simple, but what followed for Daphne was unexpected to say at the least. Side effects are the last thing on someone’s mind when they find what they’ve been searching for after so long…and Daphne paid the price. I would have loved to see ...more

Excitements afoot! Laura hits pay dirt blasting this bad boy into a tailspin propelling this baby to staggering heights. An arresting storyline and riveting plot reveal an abundance of twists and turns that thrusts this baby to life beautifully. A swirling throng of vexing contingents and a bevy of surprising mishaps catapults those swirling emotions bursting into play. The drama, humor, intrigue and exciting suspense fuse this bad boy together piece by piece. Throw in

Daphne is having side effects to the spell she cast. She doesn't know what to do. She is just trying to get good grades, try to get closer to Heath again. When the features happen again, Health take her to Bradley to help her. Once they realize they need more help, all the men and her brother will step in to reverse it.
They all have a conversation to where they were ok with all of them dating her, if she was ok with it. She speaks with Heath and the others and realizes she is ok with it. Each on

I really hate to see this portion of the story come to an end. This has been a very enjoyable story line that was presented well. Now at last, Daphne and her brother, Ryan, have the spell book and can turn themselves into cats. The only unexpected thing – and you know there has to be one – is that there are side effects when Daphne changes, and this will have to be corrected!

Complicating her life further, Daphne’s enemy, Emma, is still trying to keep Daphne from getting back together with Heath

Our heroine finally found the spell, but of course it has unexpected side effects. Eh, who wants to be a cat anyway? Time to deal with her rival and catch her men.

So this is book three of a new series at Grimalkin Academy, not to be confused with the other series at the academy where every time the character casts a spell, cats appear. The two story lines are related, but it is not necessary to read the other one to enjoy this one. I do, however, recommend starting at the beginning of this story

Three boys, one enemy, one magic-impaired best friend, and the ability to turn into a cat (with side-effects). Daphne's time at Grimalkin Academy has not been what she expected! And now someone is determined to get her kicked out. Never a dull moment.

This is the perfect conclusion to Daphne's story. Heath, Cade, and Bradley come through in a big way for the little pink-haired witch (in more ways than one). And Daphne proves she is as kind as she is smart. This has been a series with a sense of f

The book is good, but I feel it was rushed a little and somethings would have been nice to know.Daphne and her brother has the spell book and are able to turn into a cat. Daphne still has three guys wanting her and she wants them. Heath is trying to get over what Daphne did to him. Emma who likes Heath is out to get Daphne. Daphne losing control over her body. Everything is so complicated for her. Can she love three guys? Can they accept her feelings? Can Heath get over what she did and still lo ...more

This is book 3 to the Grimalkin Academy: Catacombs and it’s the last book to this series. Daphne and her brother Ryan have found the spell that turns them into cats but because Daphne has no luck there are side affects to the spell and her enemy Emma doesn’t want Daphne back with Heath so she’s working on a plan to get Daphne out of the academy for good. Daphne and her 3 guys work out how she can be with them and the guys don’t have any problem sharing so they are all happy with the outcome luck ...more

Well written and entertaining.
Daphne discovered a slight problem or side effect of her spell to turn into a cat while with Heath and he takes her to Bradley for help managing the side effects. Turns out they also need Cade and Ryans help.
Meanwhile, Emma is plotting to get Daphne expelled so Heath will return to her instead of going after Daphne.

Would have been nice to have found out how the side effects of the spell are dealt with permanently instead of managing them with an amulet and to see m

An excellent conclusion to Daphne's adventures!

Mission accomplished for Daphne and Ryan. With Heath's help they've finally found the missing family spellbook and the spell to turn into cats. But the spell comes with side-effects and Daphne is the one to suffer them. On the other hand, her romantic interests are smoothed out, but she still has to deal with an enemy that wants her expelled. Will she overcome this obstacle? And will she find a way to fight the side effects of the spell?

A wonderful

Daphne and her brother found the spell that can turn their family into cats - but Daphne has been having some embarrassing side effects - can she stop it happening? Heath is talking to her again, and she is loving that - but Emma will do anything to get her kicked out of Grimalkin. Can Cade, Bradley and Heath help her beat the female who wants Heath for her own? Have loved every bit of this trilogy - Laura never disappoints!

*Spoiler Alert*
Emma (Heath's so called fiance) decides she doesnt want Daphne (FMC) to get in the way of what she wants (Heath) and she'll try anything to get rid of her including getting her expelled from Grimalkin Academy. As well as trying to stop her from getting her own way Daphne also has to contend with three guys - Heath, Cade and Bradley who are interested in her and maybe a problem she has with shapeshifting into a cat. So things are heating up nicely in book 3 of this series. Loving I

A cute, quick final chapter to Daphne and her friends' time at Grimalkin Academy. This short read wrapped things up neatly and the reader got all the questions answered but it was just not as good as the previous two books in the series. There were some really fun sections, like where Daphne has to deal with the side effects to her from the cat spell but overall it fell flat for me.
Three and one-half stars instead of the four stars I was going to initially give it due to this.

Catching A Warlock by Laura Greenwood is the third book in the Grimalkin Academy: Catacombs series. In this book, Daphne is coming to terms with dating the three men in her life while continuing her education at the Grimalkin Academy. This book is full interesting situations that the main character Daphne finds herself involved in and having to deal with. It shows that polyamorous relationships take work and trust to sustain. This is book 3 of 3 in the new Catacombs mini series of the Grimalkin Academy books. These books feature Daphne's story, and I loved reading from her viewpoint. I won't tell you what happens (I hate spoilers!) but it's a great book, and I highly recommend it to all Grimalkin Academy fans, or lovers of supernatural stories, and its young adult target audience means it's suitable for all ages.

Figuring things out
This is the third book of this series and my understanding the last about the catacombs portion. The book has great characters and world building. The love triangle continues. And we got a jealous Female out for revenge. The one thing that made this a four star and not a five was that it’s more like a HFN ending not a HEA ending. Otherwise a good read as the third part of the series

Love this series on Daphne which is a runoff from the main series about Mona. It is an interesting school and seeing it from different students perspective gives a more thorough understanding of it. Was glad to see that Daphne sorted out her love life and beat Emma at her own game. A good ending, although I want more from this school.

Daphne is having a bit of a problem with some effects of the spell she and her brother cast. She calls her brother, Heath, Bradley and Cade to try to figure things out. Oh, and she still has Emma trying to get her expelled and away from Heath. Working together they come up with a positive plan. I would like to know more about their family and why the spell book is locked away. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.

Third installment in the series.

Daphne is dealing with the effects of the spell that was cast in the last book. She turns to Mona and the 3 men in her life for help. During this time she also has to deal with an enemy trying to get her expelled.

A wonderful read on the dynamics of friends and family.
