Stories about people spying on other people make me uneasy, that's probably why I had such a hard time getting into the book. I disliked deeply Darien. Despite everything that's going on, I was not drawn to him, not pitying him one bit. Maybe that's another reason why I couldn't enjoy the book... There are so many awkward moments...

A quiet community, until one night changes everything. Darien's wife is missing. Surely someone saw something. Everyone is always peeping out of their windows, spying on eachother. Catching eachother spying. Someone knows the truth. Someone is hiding something. Someone is a very good liar and always has been. This was a twisted domestic suspense. A fast read. I enjoyed it.
