A worthy conclusion to the trilogy

Finally, in this novel, we see the protagonists gain real confidence in their respective faiths and the result is an amazing look into the mindset of a religious believer. Of course, before the novel is over a series of surprises mixes things up again to keep the tension high. The stakes are also much higher, and the author shows skill in ratcheting up the action as well as the character development as we move through the series. I cannot imagine where it could

If God is for us who can be against us.

I cannot critic this book, other than to say that I enjoyed the subject matter because it upheld the belief in a higher power than men.

I received a free copy of this book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

This is the third book in a series that brings evil, war, greed with goodness, love and faith into a battle to secure peace for all and, hopefully, forever. The author brings back the main characters from his previous books to put together plans to defeat the devastating Sekarans. Everywhere the Sekarans went they left behind death, destruction and slavery.

But no more. Drin, Anais and Err-dio were on a m

For the record, I have received an Advanced Review Copy of this book with the request that I leave a voluntary honest review for other potential readers. Having said that, here is my honest opinion and review of this book. This series is marvelous. In this installment, we again meet the bar set by the first book and even set it a bit higher. The plot is this one is a bit more complex than in the first two books, but is in keeping with the overall story arch. I have read both of the previous book ...more

In the third book of this multiverse transversing and faith transcending trilogy, the sci-fi modern Templar’s face crises of faith and hope for new worlds and peoples.

Are these warriors leaders of faith? Warfare? Death and destruction? All of the above and none of it?

Painful progression of battle and development of new faiths and new understandings of ancient faiths. Utter destruction of much of what came before.

And it begins again, as so much is ending.

I read the first book and Drin had a crises of faith. It was something else to read. There was so much pain in it from Drin until he finely realized that with war there was killing. I missed the second book. But this one I see a new man with his faith in tact. He finely understands what his God has been working forward to with him. Now the harbinger has been born. Now the next book will have the story of the end times. And more I hope. I will be waiting for it. I received a complimentary review ...more

This is book 3 of the Nano Templar Books. Drin is teaching Anais to fight using her nanites, she is trying hard but she is just now starting to learn and she has problems. Drin is called to his ship as they are going to see if they can find the weapon that is supposed to be able to destroy worlds. It's a well written book and builds on the other two books. I'm looking forward to see what occurs in the fourth book because there's got to be 1/4 book. The story has been left hanging and I have to k ...more

I found this particular novel difficult to start - for some reason, the first few chapters did not catch or keep my imagination. It is worth slogging on though because past the mundane details of rebuilding a society is the epiphany. Both Drin and Anais grow more deeply in their faith, only to hear God's call to truly surprising vocations. I am seeing more parallels in their faith walk and mine as the author continues to spin their stories.

I read the first book and enjoyed it and when this book came out, I grabbed it because the first book was so good. I was disappointed to find that I did not follow most of what was happening and that I had somehow missed so much. If I can get the second book, I will revise this review but for now, I just found this book confusing.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
