I think I may be a little bit dead. This book quite literally suffocated me with a pillow of happiness and love. In my deceased state, I am thoroughly incapable of doing the words for good sentences, so have a list of reasons why Act Your Age, Eve Brown was delightful, lovely, and all-around wonderful instead:
-it's cute as fuck
-like, I was a smiling mess the whole time
-eve brown is an absolute gem

Absolutely joyful. Eve is a force of chaos and a bit of a mess with a habit of running away; Jacob is all order and control with a lifetime of people running away from him. They're obviously perfect. Deep kindness (especially about human flaws and quirks) without sentimentality, terrific snark, great one-liners, swoony and hot romance, assured writing and a cast that's diverse because humans are diverse. A terrific conclusion to an excellent series; I enjoyed this overwhelmingly.

4.5 stars: I was between 4 and 4.5 stars, but frankly, the degree to which this lightened my spirits on a high pain/anxiety day tipped me towards the extra half star. This book was just SO CHARMING and SO JOYFUL. I absolutely loved the main characters and the banter between them, but more than anything, this is one of the only successful screwball comedies I've encountered in book form. This book is (IMO- humor is so subjective) genuinely funny, and even more than the romance going on, I just en

Everything about this book is sooo freaking adorable. How am I supposed to wait for 5 long months????

Act Your Age, Eve Brown was so much better than I ever thought possible (and I had pretty high expectations).
The plot follows Eve and Jacob. Eve wants to prove herself to her family, and show that she isn't spoiled and that she can hold down a job and not give up. Enter Jacob, and his bed and breakfast. He's desperate for a new cook, and when Eve just so happens to show up (and hit him with her car), he's stuck hiring her.

The bad news: Act Your Age, Eve Brown marks the end of the Brown Sisters trilogy.
The good news: Talia Hibbert ended things on a HIGH AF note because she continues to bless us every single damn day.
Take a Hint, Dani Brown, the second book in this series, was always going to be a tough act to follow, but I think Eve Brown's story somehow did it. Hibbert is truly a queen, legend, and icon when it comes to snappy dialogue and crisp banter, and the agitation and long-simmering tension between Eve and ...more

The Brown Sisters series has been such a bright light in an overall bad (reading) year and I'm so happy that I've discovered it. While Take a Hint, Dani Brown is still my favorite, Act Your Age, Eve Brown is a very cute conclusion to this series. If you loved the other books in this series, this book won't disappoint you.

This is a Contemporary Romance, and this is the third book in the Brown Sisters. I have to say this is my favorite one, and the other two was so good. This one was funny and the characters found the person they needed at that time. I love the Autism in this book, and I love this book shows that autism is very different from girls and boys. I have an Autistic daughter and son. I think Eve is my favorite Brown sister. I am sad to see that this is the last Brown sisters book. Of course the characte

I mean, is anyone surprised that this was a delight? Nope. Because I don't think Hibbert can do any wrong. And The Brown Sisters series has been truly wonderful and I'm pretty sad it's over. But.. might there be hope of a spinoff? With the Montroses? Pretty please?

Ahh this was so cute!!
I love this Slytherin/Hufflepuff duo! I laughed out loud, grinned at my screen and just honestly felt so many happy feelings while reading their romance. I do wish that we got more of them as a couple as I feel like things moved pretty fast once they decided to move fast friendship and I also wish there was more of an epilogue for all the characters as I *believe* this is the last book in the series but nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

Somehow I missed out on reading about Chloe and Dani Brown so Eve was my first introduction to the Brown family and Talia Hibbert’s wonderful writing. Eve is perfectly content with her life. She is constantly switching careers and still lives with her parents but she is fine with that. That is until her parents give her the ultimatum to move out and get a job or she will lose access to her trust fund. Eve takes off on the road through the country when she comes across a B&B hiring for the chef p

Eve is facing a dilemma where she feels like a failure even though she knows she's lucky to have all these opportunities in the first place, coming from a privileged background. My baby needs a hug.

The Brown Sisters series is my absolute favourite romance series, so I was so excited that I got to read this book early! Especially because I'm autistic and the author confirmed that both the main character and the love interest in this book are autistic.
The autistic rep in this book is so special. I've only seen a book where both the main character and the love interest are autistic once before, and never in trad pub. It was amazing to see how this worked.

If you loved the other two books, you can't miss this one. It was the cutest and most wholesome of them. Also the sexiest if I say so myself. Eve and Jacob will make you swoon and emotional. Definitely the best conclusion to one of the best romance series I've read in a while. Talia Hibbert is always a joy to read and I can't wait to see where she goes next.

t’s a bittersweet feeling saying goodbye to the the Brown sisters. While I’m happy to see them have their Happy Ever Afters, I will miss these characters that were a bright spot in my reading.
Eve Brown, the baby sister might be my favorite of the trio. They are all equally lovable but I found myself relating to Eve a lot. Her feelings of being lost and not knowing how to find her passion in life, the feeling of not quite fitting in anywhere. And while most of the time she’s sunshine and glitter ...more

Welp, it is official. The Brown Sisters are delightful. De.Light.Ful.
Should I go ahead and say this is my favorite? Yes, I think I should. This was my favorite.
Jacob and Even were amazing characters. I just wanted to cuddle them up and mother them to death.
They had such great obsticles to overcome (you know what I mean....I'm not trying to be ugly). In addition....the setting oh, the setting. I loved the Lake district. It ha ...more

We’ve met Eve in the previous books of The Brown Sisters trilogy by Talia Hibbert. She’s the little sister, and, as the blurb says, she’s a certified hot mess. Until she accidentally runs over Jacob, the owner of a small town B&B, and she gets herself into a cooking job she actually enjoys.
