This was a sweet clean romance that followed the story of Camile and her many jobs and her struggle to figure out her career and direction of life. She meets Rhys 2 years after their dating disaster and still isnt impressed by his lack of socialization and awkwardness. As they get to know each other she starts to change her mind about him.

I liked reading about Camile and her many jobs (hilarious!) and her determination to succeed in life. Although she is met by negativity, she continues to press

Second Chance for the Single Dad by Carol Ross is an encouraging tale about finding love for the second time and trying to keep family close.
Can Camile and Rhys keep Willow?
Camile Wynn
Camile is the last daughter of the Wynn family, and she has been paying her way since she decided not to become a doctor as her father wanted. She works a lot of part-time jobs along, on of them as a dance teacher. This job comes into play for Rhys's sister Anne and their niece Willow. Camile grows a lot

Ive enjoyed every book Ive read by Carol Ross, but I think Second Chance for the Single Dad is my favorite so far! I loved everything about it.

Camile is a delightful heroine. Shes dealing with a lot when we meet her, not the least of which involves being a promotional dancing taco for a real jerk. On the heels of that debacle, she joins some friends for dinner and gets roped into teaching much-whispered-about recluse Rhys how to waltz. And here, friends, is when the romantical emotions

"He'd assumed....The truth was, it wasn't uncommon for women to be physically attracted to him, and he'd believed that was the case. Apparently not. That revelation should have been a relief. It was not."

Rhys McGrath is used to having women attracted to him and he doesn't always appreciate their interest but this is a different scenario. There's just something about this dance teacher that sparks his attention. Is it her beautiful smile or could it be her joy for life? She initially appears

Image this type of man: part Sheldon Cooper, part Spock, and a big part sexy, uber gorgeous guy. Oh and he is kind and loving. Are you picturing him? Well you are seeing the main male character Rhys McGrath, in Second Chance for the Single Dad.

Thank you to the author and book tour coordinator for the ARC of this title.

I found myself zooming through this story. Fun, sweet, touching... I wanted everything to turn out well. I liked all the characters that much. The storyline was romantic,

Thank you in advance to the author, Carol Ross, and Prism Book Tours for providing a complimentary review copy. A positive review was not required, all words are my own.

Carol Ross is yet another new-to-me author, which seems to be the case more often than not. I am getting quite familiar with Harlequins Heartwarming line though.

This is the clean, wholesome line of the Harlequin novels and one Im VERY fond of. This line ranks #3 with Love Inspired #2, and Love Inspired Suspense being #1. There

Camile Wynn is a dance teacher with a recent string of bad luck. She is excited to get a new student but, becomes wary when she finds out her new student is Rhys McGrath. Rhys McGrath is a reclusive man who lives with his orphaned niece. He wants to learn how to waltz so, he can take his niece to the father and daughter dance. Camile is surprised by Rhys's generous heart because of his cold personality. When Camile finds out that he might lose custody of his niece, Camile takes matters in her ...more

This was a sweetly, romantic story about two people that were very likable and captured my attention. Rhys is an attractive single dad to his niece, whom he would like to keep raising. He is in a custody battle with Willow's aunt so he has to be especially well behaved. However, Rhys is a very private and a very literal person. He won't lie, not sure he can, and his interactions with other people leave him less then desired and his social skills are just not there. This leads to all manor of ...more

I gave this book five stars because it's been a great adventure!
I love Second chance romances and this one is no exception!
Ross has done an amazing job with Ryhs and Camile. Two of the greatest people you'll ever want to know.
While I'm not a dance teacher I have done some dancing in my younger years called clogging which is pretty popular here in my home state of Kentucky. I did it for at least 5 years. I was sad to see it end. But I'll never forget.
I like Ryhs. He's quiet, shy and only speaks

I was given a copy, free, in exchange for my honest opinion.

This was a very sweet romance. It was an enjoyable read that I found myself drawn to, not wanting to put it down. Rhys was socially awkward but highly intelligent. Despite being bit rude and abrupt with people, I liked him. Even though I believed that his social awkwardness was apparent, I could also see why people misunderstood him. Camille was fun, but I also felt that sh was a bit petty about things. I am always for someone who

Rhys McGrath may be a genius but hes horrible with people (somewhat humorously if youre not on the receiving end). The reclusive man is the center of much of the gossip in Pacific Cove, and his sister is on a mission to improve his image.
Enter Camile Wynn whose schedule is so packed she can barely squeeze in sleepingor eating. But the offer shes handed to teach Rhys dance lessons is hard to refuse. Even if shes going to refuse anyway.
Second Chance for the Single Dad is a wonderful story about

Camile Wynn teaching Rhys McGrath to waltz should be simple, right? Of course not. Not only are there plenty of (individual) problems to complicate how they relate to one another, but there is a bit of a disaster in their communal past, too. But perhaps, despite their differences, Camile and Rhys can realize that, in accepting help to overcome their problems, there is hope for a much-needed second chance at love.

Carol Rosss Second Chance for the Single Dad is exactly what I hope to find when I

A first for me by this author and I enjoyed reading it. It was fun getting to know the people of Pacific Cove, Camille and Rhys and their friends and family.
Rhys is definitely different from your every day hero, honest to a fault that it gets him in trouble most of the time. But beneath all that, is a sincere wonderful and loving man who just needs to be around the right people to reveal himself. I loved his heart for his niece and that he was willing to do anything for her.
And then there's

I have read a few books penned by Ms. Ross but this one is my favorite
because Camille Wynn and Rhys McGrath are simply delightful. Camille is such a hard working young woman, when we first meet her she's working in a job that is less than ideal for her. I had to chuckle when she had it out with her boss in public dressed as a taco. I mean the guy isn't the greatest boss, so I felt he had it coming but I just imagined that scene several chapters in.
That's what I liked so much is that I could

Who knew learning to dance could lead to far more? Rhys McGrath takes telling the truth to an extreme, perhaps as would someone on the autism spectrum, although this is never mentioned. And Camile Wynn's life seems to be an example of everything going wrong, no matter her efforts to get things together. But these two characters help each other and both need that help.

Rhys wants to make sure his niece stays with him, something his brother had dictated prior to his death. Camile can help him with

This book had me at single dad. Once I started this book I literally couldn't out it down. I read this one in one day. I loved the characters so much. Camile was awesome. She has such a big heart. I would want to be friends with her in a heartbeat. Rhys is off putting to some with his personality, but once you get to know him you get to see the sweet guy underneath. Camile has two bad impressions of him, but as she gets to truly know him she sees what most don't. It warmed my heart to see these ...more

I was first introduced to this author last year, upon reading her moving story, Keeping Her Close. She proved to me then, and reassured me now, that she is a wonderful storyteller who creates genuine characters, meaningful storylines, and memorable settings.

Second Chance for the Single Dad is such a heartwarming read. I connected with Rhys immediately and I sympathized and empathized with him. I also related to Camille, and I love how they were both stalled by hesitancy yet found the courage to

Second Chance for the Single Day is the fourth book in the Pacific Cove Romance Series. This was a new author and series for me, and I really enjoyed it. It was well written, easy to read, had great characters, and was hard to put down once I started. I usually like to start with the first book when reading a series, but this book was good as a stand-alone. I did enjoy it so much that I have placed the other books on my list to read.
I loved how the author developed the characters and how they

This is such a neat story. Rhys McGrath is a quiet person that doesn't relate with people. Then there is Camile Wynn who is comfortable with herself. This is a neat story to read for it gives you insight into a person who is uncomfortable around people. It takes the help of friends to make this story interesting. Its worth reading. For the love of a child makes Rhys go out of comfort zone. Watching him grow is so neat to see. It takes one person to make things possible for him. Its a special ...more

A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. Tragic that can rip a family apart for all the wrong reasons. This one how Rhys has to fight for his niece Willow and then how he also helps Camile while she helps him. A love story you don't want to put down. As this is book four in the series it is a standalone read but one that pulls you in to get the rest.

Loved this book. Rhys is such an interesting character, and I adore the way he's willing to go way outside his comfort zone for his niece. Camille is the perfect counterpoint to him. This may be my favorite Carol Ross book yet.
