This book brings together a selection of the most analytically sophisticated writing on how Latinos have been portrayed in movies, television, and other U.S. media since the early years of the twentieth century and how images have changed over time in response to social and political change.
Latin Looks:-Latino Images in the Media is an awesome book that tell it readers the Latino/Latinas portrayed in the media, television & movies. Clara E. Rodriguez has done her research well and speaks explains in the book with full experience of the Latinos she has seen or encountered. The books also have plenty of statistics of Latin Americans exposure of media. I enjoyed reading this book and glad that I had to use it for a textbook for Latino Popular Culture course.
So I rate it with 2 thumbs up. Anyone who is interested in Latino studies, I would recommend them to read this book. =)~
