I needed a book with a lawyer, and, having just spent a few days in Atlanta for work, I thought this book from the series "Atlanta Heroes" would stretch my horizons a little bit and get me out of my main reading habit of PNR, historical romance, and zombie fiction. My horizons were stretched, all right, just not in a direction I could appreciate.

"Boy, that was crappy."

No offense to fans of the book, the author, or Harlequin Superromance series, but this one just did not connect with me.
