A whirlwind mystery!

The latest Spicetown mystery didn't disappoint! I enjoyed the mystery and the development of the characters. Officer Briscoe added a fun dimension to the book and I need to know who is opening the flower shop. I love following the adventures of the mature crime solving duo - Cora and Conrad!

Small town and everyone knows everything that is going on......The mayor may regret her decision to renovate an abandoned building when a accident happens and all are wondering what really happened.....lots of suspicion and the police chief is out of town. His dog is being trained to be an officer to help him in cases.....when he comes back he digs into the crime scene and investigates many of the workers from the work site.....lots of action and suspense and a quick read.

Another mystery solved in Spicetown

Conrad is away at dog training camp so it's up to Cora and Wink to solve the murder. Are the tool thefts related to the murder? Could it be someone on the construction team responsible for both the murder and the thefts? Conrad gets back in town and solves both mysteries.
I love her writing style. You can picture yourself living in Spicetown and knowing the people. On to the next book.

Love this book!

This is another engrossing saga in Spice town. The storyline Is intriguing and full of twists and turns. The unexpected ending will make you want the story to continue. As always, adventuring along with the mayor, the police chief, and the other loveable characters like Amanda makes the reader wish that this town is for real.

Another good read

The characters are always a highlight of this series. As the owner of 3 rescue dogs I really enjoyed Officer Briscoe. The take a leak trick was amusing. Looking forward to the next one.

Great read

I really enjoy this series as it doesn't make the police look inept, but willing to accept information and be honest and work with others.

Frequent word omissions and plot not quite tied up. Things happen in this series that aren’t ever actually finished. Turner kids and their home. Saucy’s sister is never mentioned again. The situation with Bonita is just another unfinished plot device.

I have really enjoyed the Spicetown series thus far! They have all been great cozy mysteries with wholesome, relatable characters in a charming town. The mysteries are nice because they are not chalked full of gruesome details and I enjoy the depth of character development each story holds.
If you like wholesome mysteries these are a great pick!
