The Truth About Anna: And Other Stories
William Warrens writings on Asia have entertained and informed readers for over 40 years. He has always preferred 'the unusual to the ordinary, the little-known to the familiar' and the essays in this book, all of them about Asia and collected here for the first time, are linked by a taste for oddity and romance.

I interviewed this author for an article I wrote about expats living in Thailand. Warren is a very eccentric older gentleman who has lived in Thailand for 40 years and still has a very thick accent from his native Athens, Georgia.

Warren gives interesting insights on Anna Leonowens and the myths surrounding Jim Thompson, American businessman who disappeared in 1967. Warren's collection of articles have appealed to me because of my two-year humanitarian L.D.S. mission to Thailand. I like his writing and research.
