Update 11/7/20: This book hits different today. We have elected Somebody Blue (Joe Biden) and our first female VP (Kamala Harris). Saying “Madam Vice President” sure does feel good! And Spanky is officially a one term president! The story is almost done being played out irl.
There’s a lot more work to be done but, in this moment, I am happy and hopeful. This a step in the right direction.
4/3/20: This was definitely a great distraction from everything that has been going on lately. Padellan (BrooklynDad_Defiant!) is very active on Twitter and was responsible for brightening up my days after the 2016 election. I bought this book as soon as I found out about it and, trust me, it was money well spent.
This liddle book is very amusing. Albeit a parody, it is driven by facts. I laughed at Spanky and then cried, remembering that this is our current reality. It most certainly is a great morale booster. November 2020 here we come! Vote for Somebody Blue!
There’s a lot more work to be done but, in this moment, I am happy and hopeful. This a step in the right direction.

Too Funny but Surprising True
It is a short story written like a children's book, that way Trump can read it.
Yes it is a political book and there is no doubt who Mr Padellan dislikes a great deal.
With that said, free thinking people will love the book and have a good laugh.
Come to think of it, is a bedtime story for adults so we can sleep better in these stressful times.
Grab a copy or two.

Short and funny
I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this. I follow the author on Twitter and wanted to support him. It's a funny little book. Definitely not for children.

I wanted to like this, because I support the cause, but I didn't really. It is taking this disaster a bit too humorously for me. I understand, they are making fun of all of the things that have happened, but I am much more appalled at all of this than they seem to be.

Just a quick warning to the reader....make sure you read this in the morning with covfefe so you can start the morning with a smile, a laugh despite the state of the world, and a little hope. If you read this late at night near sleeping people....be warned, you will wake them up with your chuckling.
This is cleverly written, the illos are killer and many are spot on in likeness, My favorite parts are the funny, witty names the antagonists and protagonists are given.....Emaillory Hinton, Ourrock Nodrama, Spanky McDumbass, Eyebonka, Starla & Malaria for wives? Spit my covfefe out again!
I know some people are upset that we are laughing about such a messed up situation, but if you can’t laugh at it just a little, you will cry 24/7. The Author, Magid M. Padellan, also known on Twitter as @BrooklynDad_Defiant! has been keeping those of us horrified and let down by Spanky McDumbass & his merry band of criminals, from completely pulling our hair out. He keeps us strong and unified, with a touch or three of humor thrown in.
I like that Magid takes the story into the future, offering us hope.....no.....a positive intention vision.... Moe Reyden 2020 and Spanky McDumbass & administration..... prosecuted and convicted of lots of illegal activities, ASAP.
I hope the author is using some of the profits of this book to help us Win Blue!

Hope there is a sequel. I am ready to co-write and record the theme-song for this book, any day. Just write.

I was following Brooklyn Dad - Defiant on Twitter before he published this book. His comments are usually spot-on and I bought the book as a show of solidarity. It is hilarious and on many levels speaks to both the humor I need for the adult me to survive this horrible presidency and to the twelve-year-old me who wants to call a dumb-ass a dumb-ass in places where I should remain quiet. John Kelly’s (I don’t think it is “that” John Kelly) illustrations are excellent.
He autographed the book (purchased through his website): To Craig, Enjoy & Resist! Which just about sums up my life in this crisis-ridden time.

Hilarious, prophetic and a “liddle” scary. It’s a bit of what happened and a lot of what came about. The characters are accurate especially Spanky. The illustrations are also spot on. I EAGERLY await the next installment.

This book is a hilarious take on all of the chaos that the 45th president reeked on the United States during his reign of terror. I would highly recommend it.
