BABY, Untamed showed her natural black a**!!! The characters were well thought out. The storyline flowed nicely. The ups the downs, the twists, the turns. The roller coaster ride of emotions. This book had it all. She really had me in my feelings for the characters, and I wanted to see all of them win. When they hurt, I hurt. When they experienced pleasure, I experi-well, never mind about that, (LOL) I didn't want the book to end. I'm truly a forever fan and can not wait to read Never Again, No More 2: Getting Back to Me, so I can check up on my girls and see how things turned out for them.

Love this unique read. I love how the story was based on 4 women and there lifestyle. The men in this book however...hmmmm. It seems to me that every book that this author writes; automatically comes to life for me. I can imagine my reality being each characters reality and the feelings they feel, I feel. All in all this was an absolute great read and I’m super blessed to have had the pleasure of reading this before it officially came out. Great Job. If I could rate this book more than 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would definitely do so. Can’t wait to see more of what you have in store

Untamed really did it!!! She captured every possible scenario that could effect a woman. These women were friends but each had their own crosses to bear. The storylines were so relatable and true to life. As you turn the pages, you can’t help but get drawn into their lives. Read!!!

Let’s Set the Mood Right Quick:

Never Again, No More (Urban Renaissance) by Untamed

Drink: E&J

Music: What About Your Friends by TLC, Teenage Pregnancy by Francine Hendricks

Audible: Lola James, Sable Lyn, Ebony Mendez, and Tamara Thompson: These women did a fantastic job. They brought these characters to life. They are had distinctive voices for each character. We truly enjoyed multiple narrators. It really sets this story apart.

Trinity: If, “one foot in and one foot out,” was a person it would be Trinity. She had all the material things any young woman would want.

Charice: If, “loving a man more than yourself,” was a person it would be Charice. She struggled with finding herself worth.

LaMeka: If, “your environment,” was a person it would be LaMeka. She struggled with childhood trauma.

Lucinda: If, “taking one step forward and two steps back,” was a person it would be Lucinda. She just couldn’t catch a break.

This was a journey of four friends that all took the same path but ended up in different places. This story was filled with resentment, should’ve, could’ve, would’ves. Watching these girls transform into women was phenomenal. Even when their struggles by the end of the story you were proud to steps, they were taking to become better mothers. Strap up this is only the beginning.

Trash. I made it to disk three and am genuinely sick of hearing the pointless vulgar trash talk. I will, however, finish the book. I don't want anyone to say I didn't give it a chance to reveal some redeeming value.
If I were a mother of a young daughter of color she would not be allowed to read this kind of garbage. The book reinforces the pregnant black teen girls, the worthless baby Daddy, mothers that put men before their children, and the almighty power of the drug $$$$s.
Time for mothers of color to start demanding better reading material. Time to step up and stamp out these stereotype books of entertainment.

Really

The last few chapters of the book were a fair read. It was to much detail and very slow at the beginning. I will however read part 2 in order to see what happens next.

This book was long but good. It is about 4 friends and their relationships with their baby daddies. I can't wait to read the 2nd book to see if the drama continues.

I'm dubbing this five star read "Whew Chile"

Oh my goodness.... Let me start by saying I love this Author's writing style. She makes me feel at ease with the story, yet at the same time thumps on my nerves. These characters really grew on me. I found myself really upset about what they were experiencing. I had to tell myself, it's just a book Ebony. Calm down...

All I can say is, Author Untamed keep playing with my emotions!! You've got a gift with the pen ❤️📚

I definitely recommend you guys to allow her to play with yours😁

This book has a great storyline. As a woman who was once a high school teenage girl I can related to all the women in this story. At a young age we do foolish things and thing we are indestructible but as we grow, we discover that we are easy to crumble and fall. Lucinda, Trinity, Charice and LaMeka are all girls just growing up and trying to enjoy life being part of the “it crew”. They fall for boys, Raul, Ryan, Terrance, Pooch and Tony....that represent every kind of boy and man that exist in our lives. Some good and some not so good. Spoilers...Lucinda and Raul I understand she needs to do what she needs to do because of her daughter but I don’t think that’s going to turn out to be a good thing for her....tangling with her best friends man and his business at the strip club. Trinity and Terrance...WOW!! If Pooch, her current man, finds out...they both might die. I am happy for Lincoln and Charice...She deserves to be happy after Ryan didn’t acknowledge her or their triplets, but the repercussions that can come from that when when Ryan finds out that his baby momma and his best friend are in a relationship may crush him....damn!!! Pick this book up....pay for it and download the whole copy from Amazon. If you grew up in da hood, I promise you won’t be disappointed be sure one of these sistas will be you!!

Four teenage girls find themselves in relationships with high school lives that all take a twisted turn. Charice seems to be the level-headed one that is ruined by her heart. It seems like time stands still for LaMeka. Trinity is stuck between a rock and a hard place and Lucinda just wants what's best for her daughter.

This book is a page turner that will have your emotions all over the place…and then leave you wanting more. I can't wait to catch up with these characters in "Never Again…No More II: Getting Back To Me.

I highly recommend this book by @authoruntamed and give it

I felt it was well written. It touched on issues of today's society. Teen pregnancy is not just a black problems but a problem for all races. I also felt like I could relate to the characters in the story that their struggles were believable. I can't wait for part two. Do you have the release date yet?

I loved this it was free on kindle today. I loved all the characters. I don't like what Charise is doing I want her to take back Ryan. Lucinda can't catch a break. Meka needs too start thinking about her life and kids and haul ass from Tony. I want Terrence and Trinity together but at what cost will it happen. Can't wait for part 2. Don't keep me waiting to long . Lol

To say this story captured me is an understatement. Not only does Ms. Untamed live up to her name giving you the good the bad and the ugly of single parenthood, but the untamed truth of everyday struggle for parents who aren't "together". This book is truly needed to be read not just by single mothers trying to hold on but women before they even get in the situation. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR PART TWO!

Never Again, No More by Untamed
Never Again, No More #1
11h 37m narrated by Lola James, Sable Lyn, Ebony Mendez, and Tamara Thompson, 368 pages

Genre: African-American Fiction, Urban Fiction

Featuring: Atlanta, Georgia; Profanity, Drug Dealers, Sex, Multiple POVs, Teen Pregnancy

Rating as a movie: R for adult content

Songs for the soundtrack: "In Da Club" by 50 Cent

Books and Authors mentioned: Halloween by John Carpenter and Debra Hill

My rating: DNF @ 6% Chapter 3

My thoughts: 📱6% 42:18 Chapter 3 Charise - Nope, nope, nope. I'm not feeling this at all and knowing I have to read another book after this one has me throwing in the towel.

Why I quit: I'm over these hood dramas with tons of exposition, bad decisions, drug dealers, and profanity. I'm not sure how this one slipped through.

Recommend to others: No. I obviously heard good things to add it to my library, but it's not for those who don't enjoy this type of urban fiction.

I've written a couple of non-fiction books and I've always put my name to them.
I've thought about writing fiction under a different name but never did.
So, when I stumbled across an author called 'Untamed', I figured I'd take a look.
I wish I hadn't.
Some books stay with you for a long time and sometimes, unfortunately, it is because they stink, they are so deeply unpleasant that their stench takes a time to dissipate.
"Never Again, No More" is one of those books.
It's no wonder 'Untamed' didn't put his or her name to it (although it appears to be a female), because it is genuinely dreadful. What makes it worse is that the author is clearly capable of writing a much better book but chose not to.
There's obviously a market for this type of awful because Untamed has a crapload of titles.
The women are proud of the fact that they've messed up their lives.
The men are uncaring thugs.
The plot is ridiculous.
I gave up after this statement:-
“Are you telling me my son is a fucking retard?” Tony yelled at me.
It turns out that he is autistic. The term might, however, be more correctly applied to the author.

8thDrama on top of drama, & I read every minute of it!

Readers follow the lives of four high school friends, Lucinda, LaMeka, Charice, and Trinity, as they juggle the drama of being teen mothers, and now the perils of single motherhood (for most of them), all while juggling a love life with the wrong guy (because let's be real, calling these dudes men is a TRULY a stretch).
