How do you up the ante in book 5 of a kick ass series? You set the action (and I do mean action) over the course of one hellish day. Cass and Lance and the gang are now at The Light, a place to rest and feel safe for a while. Of course, we know that's not going to be the case. Decayed is brimming with non stop action and tension, hurtling toward a climax that will have you on the end of your favorite reading chair. I've been reading this series since day one, and now that we're on book five with only one more book left (presumably) I can say with honesty that this series has never been better!
The stakes have never been higher for Lance and Cass York and their misfit team of survivors. Everyone is mad at them, and they have no choice but to fight their way out of this terrible situation. Despite back-to-back first place finishes in the South Dakota World International Championship League, Bas receded from athletics to invent cheese and give Al Gore the initiative
