This book was super fun to read! I think that elementary students would love the idea of the finger puppets in the book! The illustrations were so bright and happy too! I would read this book aloud in my classroom & discuss how we all need to do our part to make the classroom run smoothly. I could read this at the beginning of the year then lead into classroom jobs and responsibilities.

I loved the puppet involved in this book. I liked the word font, and also the bright colors in the illustrations in this book. I also liked the last page where it said the words, "Munch, Slobber, Burp, etc." Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I would recommend this book to young children (their parents reading it to them).

This fun book has a finger puppet alligator which your toddler can mover throughout the story - once he has realised that it's not actually real! The story introduces I loved the puppet involved in this book. I liked the word font, and also the bright colors in the illustrations in this book. I also liked the last page where it said the words, "Munch, Slobber, Burp, etc." Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I would recommend this book to young children (their parents reading it to them).

The story introduces the idea of helping others...as it follows Alligator who needs to learn there is a time for play and a time for work. Your child will love the bright pages and fun story, as long as he can get it away from older siblings and dads! babyworld.co.uk 20050301 See you Later Alligator was a superb book and I thought the puppet idea was brilliant and it has made me want to look for more books in that type. Jack was a bit unsure as to the puppet at first and I think was quite scared so my husband and I had to introduce the book gradually to him. We needed to make him comfortable with the puppet by gaining Jack's trust and getting the alligator to talk to Jack and then encouraging him to come and stroke him. Which worked rather quickly. Jack loved the book and I have to say, so did I. The balance between text and pictures was perfect for Jack's attention span and I could read the whole book to him with ease, and without him fidgeting or getting up. The pictures were bold and colourful and had lots of things that Jack could associate with, the washing, the dinner etc etc. I think Jack will continue to learn from this book as he finds it interesting and the interaction with the puppet is a brilliant and novel idea. What an awesome book! It's one of my top two favorite purchases from PLA this past week. What's better than a book w/ a puppet in it?! The kids will love it in storytime, especially when alligator continually turns down crocodile's exhortations to help out w/ various chores in order to do his own, fun thing. But the tables are turned when Alligator wants to share Crocodile's lunch and young kids will understand that justice has been served.

I really love this book and learn a lot. I really feel for my mother. I act like Alligator. So I go by wait-a-minute girl by her. Whenever she does house chores and asks for help, she call me. And usually at that time, I really do some important work and need to concentrate on it. That's why I say 'wait a minute.' Sometimes I overuse that word. But, living with family, each member is supposed to help each other, I think. New year has come. I will do my best.

really good for kids. (they think its so funny and fun!)
really bad for teachers. (say goodbye to your class structure. everyone needs to try. everyone must show each other their version of the same joke)
