The comic book series Deadworld was published in the 1980s during the huge explosion of B&W independent comic book publishers. This series came out before The Walking Dead and was different from TWD. One difference was that in this series some zombies were intelligent and could speak.
We are supposed to get a snowstorm this weekend so I guess that's why I read this GN. The storyline takes place during a snowstorm which has engulfed NYC!
