Great book for learning about taekwondo. The forms covered are wtf poomse which are different than the its forms we study in our do jhang. Other than that it was very useful. Nicely organized and illustrated. Especially like this sentence in the section talking about black belts -- "The award of the black belt signifies mastery of the most basic skills of Taekwondo to THAT student's fullest potential." We will not all be ninjas or perfect athletes, but we can certainly seek to find the fullest potential within ourselves.
I bought this book when I first started taking Taekwondo lessons in January 2008. It's a very easy read and the illustrations supplement the text very well. My favorite feature is the poomse diagrams in the appendix. All of the poomse are drawn out step-by-step--extremely beneficial for the beginner!
