I found some Harlequin books in the basement and wanted to give at least one a try since they were such a hit in the 90s. I’m not sure if all the stories are bad but reading this one was so irritating. I thought I wouldn’t even finish it. The book had such a pointless plot where nothing interesting ever happened and the sex scenes (there were only like 2?) were so ridiculously written I couldn’t take them seriously. It was just so so bad, I will never read another Harlequin book again.
