fantastic book and incredible insight by pastors on how to cultivate and develop and further the pursuit of leading the local church to becoming the Biblically expedient "house of prayer". A must read for every pastor and minister of both local church and para church organizations.

It’s hard to read this book and not be inspired to be a part of the movement to pray for our cities. Everyone who dreams of revival needs to read this book.

The book is very much like a very long infomercial on the benefits of prayer in churches. At times it motivates me to focus my life and deepen my own prayer life. At other times, it seems like I'm hearing the same Medicare Part 3 commerical over and over again.

It appears to me that the authors are overselling their premise. Austin is not too far from me, less than an hour north. I have attended the Bluebonnet Baptist Association meetings and events for the past 9 years and I've never heard about these guys or about this supposedly fantastic prayer movement. Two weeks ago I was in a church in the Austin association to attend a training seminar and no one mentioned anything about it.

I didn't feel like I was benefiting from the book and finally decided to put it down and move on without finishing it. I have a lot of other books I have bought since Covid began that I need to read.

A really good look on what prayer can do in your church and city. It’s a good look at how to set up a 24/7 prayer model in your church.
