"When in doubt, just chill out." - What brilliant words are these! Infusion of pure wisdom with practicality. "When in doubt, just chill out." Ah!
The sloth is kind to itself. . But how? . There is always tomorrow, she thinks *when she passes the 'get a toned belly' gym*. Although every niw and then the sloth likes to turn her world upside down. It refers to her once a month 2 hoir long yoga session and other regular occurences. She hopes her persistence will work eventually. Going by the half-life calculations, may be in a thousand years. Sloth also likes to try new things. Once a year zumba classes. Sloth has her phone turned off(actually her facebook and outlook). Sloth loves ostriches. Maybe she is one too. She thinks laughter is the best medicine. That's why tons of good/bad/horribly-distasteful/amazing sitcoms, self-ridicule-made-sound-funny-and-thus-cool and this book(Was it a book though? But it was philosophy and not humour, right?). . Yes, I am worth it!
But are you worth it? . Answer this then- What is orange and sounds like a parrot? . . . . .
Sorry for wasting your time.
Nope, not sorry at all.
Quite glad, on the contrary.
Happy reading! :)
Have fun babe/dude/non-gender-specific-slang-ish-way-of-addressing-I-hope-they-come-up-with-something-good! :D
I don’t think I’m much like a sloth (or a unicorn either) but there’s definitely a few tidbits that I though, yeah, that’s right.. like, “know when to speak up and when to be quiet.” I’m loving this series so far and I wish I bought more books from the series (from Tate).
Meh. This one just didn't do it for me. It was little more than cliched advice written in a "See Spot Run" fashion. The only reason this book made it to the adult nonfiction section of the library was probably the portrayal of alcoholic beverages. Sadly, this book turned out being more annoying than cute.
However, if you aspire to become a cumbersome, tick-infested algae garden, this book is for you.
This is another suggestion by my stepdaughter as a fast read. It was. I also grasped that it was a book to help with anxiety and coping with stress. The drawings were simple yet supportive of the text and helped to keep me grounded while reading. But, I felt it didn't stick to or for me: a few minutes later and I am back to asking 'What's the point?'
Perhaps I need to read this repeatedly as a disconnect from the stressors that I find too clinging?
Unbedingt reinschauen.
my friend Luis read this book to me in the span of 5 minutes and i feel like if i was like 5 yrs old or something i would probably enjoy it more but uh its okay I guess you can read it to your kids they would probably get a bit of enjoyment out of it yeah
A great picture book to tell you how to live a slow and peaceful life like sloth. Sloth is actually becoming more and more popular these days in the field of mindfulness.
