The information in this book is still relevant today when it comes to teachers setting up classroom expectations and seeking help from parents and principals concerning follow through of consequences. In the past there has been criticism of Lee Canter's approach. The one thing that holds true that we can learn from his approach is how to set up expectations and learn to be assertive in dealing with misbehavior. Consistency and fairness are what children need.

Very practical. Could be used as a handbook or reference. Some good sample conversations and examples of homework contracts, etc.
