Need You Now by Top Shelf Romance is a great Box Set with top authors that total 1623 pages hot pages. This is a great way to find a new author if you haven't already had a taste of their writing. This also has the in the 'Dirty Duet" both books : Dirty Filthy Rich Men and, Dirty Filthy Rich Love' so it is a one stop shop for that. I am totally in love with this box set of stories. I didn't find a bad read in this set. For me they were all 5 stars. Here are the books that you will be getting:

The Dirty Duet by Laurelin Paige

Dirty Filthy Rich Men (Dirty Duet #1):

Donovan FUCKING Kincaid!! **fucking swoon**

Ya'll ... okay, so this story ... these people ... I don't even know the word for this LOL It's addictive for sure. It's an #eyetwitch kind of story of the greatest proportions. You will not be able to stop reading, even thru all the back and forth whiplash. I have read some seriously good duets in the past but this book just surpasses all kinds of level of good. When I finished reading I was stunned stupid, just starring at my kindle blinking. I wanted to go back and read it again but I don't think my anxiety would have withheld!

Dirty Filthy Rich Men has two parts to it: The first is where we meet Weston, Donovan and Sabrina in their college years during a life altering incident. It then picks up 10 years later .... They're all grow up now, but that incident has left some scars ... not a lot of story happens in this book, but it does set you up to know the story is coming ... (that might make better sense if you read this lol) and THAT'S what keeps you glued to your kindle.

You're gonna hate to love Donovan. There's no question on that. But you will love him. You won't be able to help yourself. #TRUST


Dirty Filthy Rich Love (Dirty Duet, #2):

Donovan #fucking Kincade, indeed!!! Brilliant people ... just fucking brilliant!

Two things ......

1. This love story between Donovan and Sabrina is ridiculously phenomenal. Pay attention. Keep an open mind and you will understand and feel why it rivals some of the greatest love stories in history!

2. As far as duets go .... well done Laurelin Paige. The story forked exactly where it needed to in order to keep readers one foot off the cliff, kicking and screaming for more ... well, fucking done! I myself wanted to send her hate mail after book 1 ended LOL

Let's talk about the writing for a second because I'm not going to tell you anything about this journey at all. THAT you have to experience with a blank slate and no prejudice. This story will make your nerve ending tingle. The hair in the back of your neck will stand. Why? Because honestly, this story was unpredictable. I want to tell you that I saw it coming, but I really didn't. It's not that the love affair/HEA was a shock, no, it's how everyone gets there that was a completely new world for me. I read a lot of books. I'm reading ALL the time. It takes a lot to shock me. I was shocked. And I was deliciously impressed. And for that alone, EVERYONE SHOULD JUST ONE CLICK. DO IT RIGHT NOW!

I've read this entire duet twice now and on the second go around I found new turns/twists that I missed the first time so read this carefully. Savor it. Enjoy it. This story is not a dime a dozen story. It is unique and just so well written, and I can't stop singing its praises! Get to reading kids, I promise you won't regret it!

Hostage (Criminals & Captives, #2) by Annika Martin and Skye Warren:

How I felt while I read this story: anxious, exhilarated, twitchy, heart-break and I hung on every word like a possessed groupie! What these two authors create when they collaborate is explosive. It's magical. And it can be scary as fuck because you just never know .... evil I tell ya LOL but in the most delicious and wonderful way! Annika and Skye are powerhouse authors on their own and when they come together they blow the roof right off that powerhouse! #TRUST

Stone and Brooke are oil and water ... two more unlikely people to come together I've never come across. But they worked! Stone is a criminal. No need to mince words lol that's what he is. Brooke is the opposite of criminal. She's a socialite, or at least that's how the world sees her. They meet on Stone's terms. She sees something she shouldn't have. She should have died for that but she didn't ... cue this edgy, gripping, twichy, not always what it seemed ridiculously good story.

I cannot give you any details other than those simple ones I already have because everything that happens in this story has a purpose. It's part of an endgame, And endgame I didn't even know was going to happen. And endgame I didn't even see possible. I am in awe of these ladies and this story. I hope they continue to collaborate and scare the crap out of me while I wait because the anxiety is well worth it! #TRUST

Sinner (Priest #2):

Anyone that knows me, knows I was not a fan of Priest. I had so many issues I remember being furious with the story for a really long time. Since then I read The Camelot trilogy and I was impressed. Very impressed. So I'm gonna try one of my favorite taboos one more time by Sierra, #holyunholy, and see how it goes ... I have a good feeling, so ...

I think its best that I bullet point this for you guys....

Okay … so Sean Bell is combustible. Geeeeeeeesuz Mother Mary, my panties were on fire from page one. I’m not even exaggerating here. His confidence and cockiness, along with sexual appeal, oozed off the pages and it just did something to me *yikes* The author did an exceptional job with characterization. Sean aka Sinner was a very dimensional character. There was all kinds of depth to him. Just when you think you have him figured out ... think again.

Zenobia Iverson is minutes from becoming a nun when she makes a proposition to Sean that he just can’t refuse. She wants to be seduced by him to make sure she’s making the right decision. Cue all kinds of dirty, kinky, delicious sexual encounters :) #pantiemelting Zenny was just as complex as Sean was. On the one hand she was young and maybe a little naïve and on the other she was a woman who knew what she wanted and went after it. I’m telling you guys … this book is ridiculously good.

Sierra Simone wrote a complex journey of growth, discovery, exploration (both sexual and religious) for two people who thought they knew who they were but thru this journey found themselves questioning everything from family, deity, self-worth, love and their future.

I’ll leave you with this …. Every time I think back on this story, my brain becomes “tongue-tied”. Everything I want to say I can’t seem to put together. I am awe-struck by this book. Basically, stunned stupid. I NEED for everyone to one-click this book immediately. Okay, that’s it, just read it. Seriously.

Half Truths (Secret Society #1) by Claire Contreras:

This is the one story in this box set I am almost positive I won't read. I may in the future, but I doubt it. I don't generally enjoy this age group so it's unnecessary for me to put myself thru it. I've read this author before and I trust in her word power but New Adult is New Adult and mostly not for me *shrug*

Half-Truths was a wild 4 star read, and The Dirty Duet didn’t really speak to me at all. All were great stories, all offered a little something different, and there is definitely something here that will appeal to you

There was so much, but it built, bit by bit, stone by stone, and then it was all knocked down and the secrets overturned like the earth during an earthquake. Young love becomes true love in the midst of it all, as competing loyalties fall away for true feelings. Intense, fast-paced, and ever-changing, I was caught up in the story from the start until the end!

I am absolutely wrecked from this story. I switched from lust-inducing scenes, to full out ugly crying in emotional pain. It had it all, and amidst all the whirling vortex of emotions, the peace that settled over Sean, that he shared with Zenny in the end, invaded my soul as well. Neither character strayed from who they were at their heart, but they became their true self when they were together. Sinner and Saint, made for each other, and finding their happiness and joy, together

This was gritty, and ugly at times, yet Stone and Brooke continued to amaze me with their earnestness and how true to themselves they stayed. They were strong, even when overpowered and things went against them, even the other person. Stone will never be the good guy, and Brooke will always be the good girl, but in each other, they get to be true to who they really are. They need that other half to be whole, and it takes them this story to figure that out - I was just along for the ride!

Well, what a tempting collection of authors. So far, I have only read Hostage, but I would love to read the rest.

As it is, let me tell you about Hostage, which is enough to make this bundle worth it.

Dark romance is a guilty pleasure. For the never simple reason that it delves deep in your phyche and kindles its most secretive desires. In the hands of these two authors, the guilt and the pleasure take a new, twisted, unbearably intimate meaning.

In a beautifully poetic and subtle writing, the authors have spun a tale of grit, blood and tender breaking of innocence, and reshaped it into an improbable yet powerful love. The vulnerability of a victim comes across in harrowing detail while the struggle of a killer to let go of his rules is palpable.

In one night, these characters forge a bond that grows from sickening menace to clinging hope. The frightening lust turns into molten desire and the hell of two broken lives gives birth to a journey of what trust truly means and how men can become animals, sometimes even come back from that to be human again.

I loved the cruel scene of Stone vowing to kill his sweet victim and how it all changed. I loved the evolution of their relationship, so terrible and soulful. It was like witnessing a fallen angel falling in love with an untouched angel. It was a painful joy to see all the men in the gang, bonded in blood and misery, at their headquarters, plotting and coping. And Stone was a veritable force of nature, an avenging father to them all. I also loved Brooke, full of light yet suffocating in a life with no real feelings. They have to cross through fire in order to get to paradise. All worth it. Like this incredible dark romance that deals with dark issues and the darkest side of men.

Impressive, sensual, eye-opening, and beautiful.

I can’t remember the last time I’ve read a book quite like this and that’s probably because I haven’t. Somehow in this world where it often seems as though everything has already been done before, Claire Contreras managed to create something incredibly unique. My first introduction to this book was the cover and in this case, go right ahead and judge this book because the story on the pages inside is equally as beautiful as the image on the front.

I was sold on the concept of this book the minute I heard the words “secret society.” My interests were piqued instantly and I was clamoring to get my hands on it. I had no idea how Claire would tell this story, but, as a fan of her writing, I had total faith in her. And boy did she deliver! Half Truths was a page turning, suspense filled story that kept me guessing until the very end. Claire’s carefully placed clues were there and yet I still never knew exactly what direction things would turn. I love a good strong female character and Mae is one of my favorites of 2019. She was witty and smart and never a doormat. The interactions between her and Logan were fantastic partly due to Mae’s clever responses. Even when she was nervous or upset, she carried herself with fortitude. And Logan, well, I could go on and on about him. What a complex character. I hope to see more of him throughout this series because he’s an onion with so many more layers.

Claire has said that this book is her favorite of all of the ones she’s written and I can see why. She not only told a unique story; she created a whole world with so many possibilities and limitless potential. I, for one, am so excited to see what comes next, but I have no doubt that it will be incredible.

I was absolutely blown away with Half Truths. It captured my attention and truly made for a unforgettable, unputdownable read. Half Truths is a top favorite of mine this year and I really hope we get more books set in this world!

After transferring senior year of college, Amelia “Mae” Bastón embarks on a path to uncover the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student and to really know what happened with her brother to whom she is extremely close with. While doing so she meets semi broody hockey player Logan “Fitz” Fitzgerald who she thinks may help her find clues as to what happened.

Logan and Mae started out as frenemies, then grew to lust, then eventually fell in love. I loved their slow burn relationship and the back and forth banter they had with each other. The overall mysteriousness of the novel kept me turning the pages and never left me in a spot I wanted to put down.

I have a lot I want to share and discuss about this book, but I definitely want the reader to enjoy it without spoiling it. IMO best read going in blind.

On Brooke’s 16th birthday she witnesses a crime that will forever change her life. Stone is a criminal wanting to right the wrongs of the past for him and his “brothers” by any means necessary. When Brooke accidentally sees a crime he is committing he kidnaps her but for some reason cannot hurt her. Letting her go with the threat that he will always be watching, he can’t seem get her out of his head. A debutante looking for the normal in a mass of lies. A man with many secrets. Can they find solance in each other or will the truth cause more harm than good? When you think you know what is going on another surprise comes to light. This is told in dual POV throughout a few years.

Wow, that was a wild and intense read! Amelia “Mae” Bastón came home to be closer to her family, especially her brother, Lincoln, and to find out what he is hiding. When she transfers to a new college senior year she gets more than she bargained for when she gets summoned. What is a secret society? You might never know unless you’re summoned too! This is a great suspense with some romance that has you asking so many questions until the very last page. What happened to her brother that fateful night? Can Amelia uncover the truth? Amelia is a strong female character and Logan “Fitz” Fitzgerald is mysterious yet charming. This is a great read for those who love mysteries. Lots of twists, suspense and intrigue. Mostly told in Amelia’s POV.

Stone wants revenge and his only loyalty is to his brothers so he knows that he shouldn’t let Brooke live after what she witnessed. His head tells him to stay away but his heart won’t let him while Brooke feels many things for him but fear is not one of them.

Dirty Filthy Duet - Sabrina new job will reunite her with Weston who was her college crush and Donovan who inspired dark fantasies and ended up breaking her heart. The chemistry and connection between her and Donovan is stronger than ever, but is their love strong enough to handle the secrets he holds?

I am looking forward to reading the other books in this collection.

All this perfection came at the perfect time! The whole anthology is filled with darkness and mystery and betrayal and awakenings and all the things that make you uncomfortable while still managing to get you hot and bothered. If you haven't already read these books separately, then now is the perfect time to grab this mixture of authors with tales that will set the pages on fire and keep you reeling until the very end.
I couldn't get enough! Even though I had read one or two previously, I loved going back and seeing things I may not have seen before. Such as Half Truths by Claire Contreras. The prologue sets the stage for the whole book. All the secrets are really just insights adding onto the bigger mystery making it impossible to trust ANYONE.
All these novels will have you hooked and begging for more. Jump on this set immediately before its gone. Trust me, you Need It Now!

I read this book mostly for Claire Contreras. Her story Half Truths was incredible!!! So unique and interesting!!! This was a love story built around an intriguing amount of secrets and lies in Mae's life. Logan, as much as I found myself wanting to dislike him (you'll understand when you read) he was downright hard to resist!! The story behind the story was so good, and so unexpected!!! I could not put Half Truths down. Claire never fails to impress.
The rest of the stories were amazing as well. The Dirty Duet was amazing!!! And I found 2 other authors to follow.

This box set was pure gold!!!!! Seriously-every single story was a SIX star for me. Interestingly enough, I’ve never read these authors before-which is why I jumped at the chance to read.
My most favorite story in this bundle was Laurelin Paige’s. The angst level was off the charts-and it was real broken hearted emotions I felt to my core.
These stories are all equally amazing, and this should be one clicked as soon as possible!

Half truths was an amazing read! A riveting story that completely amazes and confounds you! To say I was enthralled with this book is just the beginning of how much I loved it! The complexity in the characters...the richness of the story and above all, the anticipation of what may happen next. The twists and turns of amelia and Logan’s story will astound you and you will keep wanting more! Amazing job!

This collection of books is absolutely fantastic. I really have enjoyed both books so far from Top Shelf Romance. I’m so happy to be able to read five brand new authors to me. It was a great way to be introduced and get a taste of their writing style. I really think reading collections like this or anthologies are a solid way to introduce yourself to new authors. Each of these stories kept me glued to my kindle and I was surprised how much each of these drew me into them. I didn't not want to put this down for a second. This is a solid collection of books and if you are looking to try some new authors or just want to read a book that you haven't read before by an author you like, this is a great way to do it! You get more bang 😉😉 for your buck!

Like its predecessor, this collection of romance novels does indeed belongs to the top shelf! I love that the entire series is included in the collection, not just a book or two.

The Dirty Duet by Laurelin Paige had me hooked from the first few pages. There's something about the author's writing that had me turning pages like a madwoman, eager and anxious to see what happens next. Donovan Kincaid is the very definition of the term "alphahole" and Sabrina... well, Sabrina somehow managed to drag me along in her conflicting thought process and herself a relatable character.

Individually, I can't say that Sabrina and Donovan are people I'd be friends with in real life, but the dynamic of their relationship works for them, making their story steamy, sexy, swoon-worthy, and captivating.

HOLY HELL! Need You Now is a brilliant collection of full length books from several brilliant authors that you cannot go wrong with, especially if you're dark & twisty like I am, and these stories feed that deep down issue. Since the stories all kinds of twisty themselves, I'm not about to go into details because it could give something away, especially with all of those twists! They're the intense kind of twists that you never see coming, but they not only shock you, but enraged me at the same time. So I dropped f-bomb after f-bomb until I couldn't utter another one of my favorite words, and yet, I couldn't look away either. I spent the whole weekend reading all of the stories one after another, without accomplishing anything else (even much sleep), so this time in the world definitely helped with that. Oh & I can't forget all the sexiness which will keep you needing a fan blowing on high! I'm telling y'all, this collection is top notch, so hit those one click buttons, as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This collection of authors is sure to melt your panties off with their stories! Laurelin Paige's Heroes are all mouth watering alpha billionaires with something to prove...or disprove. In the Dirty Duet, our Hero, Donovan Kincaid attempts to hide his feelings for our heroine, Sabrina. As cool and aloof as he often comes across, there's always a rhyme and reason for his actions and decisions. "He" keeps us guessing, and we have to trust the author to reveal his motives in due time.
In Sierra Simone's Sinner, you can only imagine what happens when young, soon-to-be a nun, Zenny, wants to learn a little bit more about her sexuality before she joins the convent. She decides the one who can teach her what she wants to know is her older brother's best friend, Sean Bell. Their journey is spiritual, sexual and oh so hot! Can't wait to read the other two stories!

"A Top Shelf Romance" is the perfect way to describe this collection of full-length romances. You get a great variety of genres. They all end in a HEA. The stories are addicting and the characters wonderful. You will be sucked in from beginning to end. Every one of these authors is extremely talented a weave a tale that you will not soon forget. I was addicted to these stories from beginning to end. I love all of these stories and the authors who wrote them. They are the best of the best! They are all must-reads! Get ready to have them light up your readers!

The Dirty Duet by Laurelin Paige- alot of steam and kink with a side of stalker tendencies; check. Donovan is just the alpha asshole every girl needs in her life. 4/5 stars.
Half Truths by Claire Contreras- suspense and slow burn heat. While I enjoyed the last few chapters of this story, I found myself taking many breaks while reading. The plot seems to be all over in my opinion. Amelia is supposed to be investigating secret societies for her school paper but the story gives no clear hints to what she will find. Instead you get vague details on initiations, side character personalities, and parties she attends...and gossip. The romance in this book is more secondary as well so if you're looking for a simple romance, you won't find it here. 2/5 stars.
The Hostage by Skye Warren and Annika Martin- DNF. I could not connect with the character. The writing was good, I just couldn't get in to it. 2/5 stsrs.
Sinner by Sierra Simone will follow after I read it.

Overall. The anthology was pretty good. Great for causual reading

Who doesn’t love Donavan Kincaid he’s the hottest book boyfriend, think I read this book couple of times and never get tired of him.

Hostage by Annika Martin and Sky Warren
This is an amazing combination between these two Authors, holly Mother... you really need to read this book but get ready because had everything you need to feel.

Half-Truths by Claire Contreras
This is an intense read, if you love mystery this book is for you.

Sinner by Sierra Simone
Well well, this is one of my favorite books, had everything you freaking need.
