Unzoned
I enjoyed this short, sweet and very HOT story of two friends
that suddenly find themselves in a surprising situation. Jade
has kept Garrick firmly in the friendzone thinking he didn't
feel the same way she secretly did. Until they bump into each
other in a BDSM club. All bets are off when Garrick takes over
and shows Jade how he really feels, but Jade is scared and doesn't
react exactly like she wanted to and trouble brews after Garrick
makes her climax with a full audience. Jade runs and it takes
most of the rest of the book to fix what was never really broken.
The sex was hot, if a bit uneasy for Jade who has been living a lie
since highschool as Garrick's platonic best friend. Loved this story!

one she attemps to get into. Jamison is a Daddy Dom
and strongly attracted to Carissa. Jamison has a connection
with Carissa is determind to win her over. Although Carissa
is wary of getting attached to Jamison then him leaving her,

he's hot and sexy and she thrives with his dominance. One
month is all Jamison has to convince Carissa that he's there
to stay! There is spanking for Carissa, Jaimison's little girl
and some very hot sex. I was so happy when they finally

Unzoned - Friends to lovers is always a challenge, but add in a D/s dynamic and it can be explosive. This fast read will hold you in its grasp from start to finish. As always, the author creates characters that you fall in love with and want to see overcome the obstacles that come their way. You feel part of the story and are invested in the outcome. Her words weave a web around your imagination that you can’t and don’t want to escape, leaving you gasping for breath at the sizzle and hating that the story will come to an end.

This author has always been one of my favorites, but the two books in this series have taken her writing to a different level with the emotions, the realistic portrayal of her characters, and the journeys they take to moving past the obstacles and circumstances they find themselves in. You are in for a treat with this pair of books. The author has revamped her previous books and made them all the sweeter, okay well maybe all the steamier. Regardless you are going to want to grab these copies while they are hot.

This is the perfect little story of what happens when two people realize that what they need has been in front of them the entire time. This book is a super fast read that grabs your attention quickly and keeps it to the end. Their our many hiccups on the way to the HEA, but what growing relationship doesn’t have those. I think you are going to enjoy this story. I can’t wait to read the next book.

2.5 It really should be a solid two stars but I’m feeling generous.
I keep forgetting how much I dislike her writing, and Stone desperately needs a copy editor. Her stories might be fun to read but I’m so distracted by her misuse of words, incomplete sentences, or sentences that end with a preposition.

This set gives you both books in the Club Dark Lace series. The stories are full of heat, sexiness, amazing characters, emotional feels, and HEAs that will make you smile. The stories can be enjoyed as stand alones, read in either order, or read as they are intended. Any way that you choose, you won't want to miss out on these amazing reads!
Unzoned is the first book in Measha Stone's Club Dark Lace series. And my warning is: Prepare to feel all the emotions! In true dominant fashion, Garrick is a lot more comfortable and sure with his decision to take his relationship with Jade to the next level. Jade, on the other hand, is afraid of ruining a good thing. Their story begins with Jade's night first night at Club Dark Lace, the local BDSM club , with her friend Carissa. She is nervous and uncertain, and when she runs into her best friend, Garrick, she is shocked. Then things get spicy and we are off and running.
The story is captivating from the very beginning. Ms. Stone does a fabulous job of creating believable and loveable characters that are easy to become invested in. They are complex, intelligent, strong, independent, and at the same time vulnerable and unsure. She fills their love story with uncertainty, hope, love, passion, and heat, and the HEA will melt your heart. If you haven't read anything by this author then this book is a great place to start. The story is fast-paced enough to keep you interested and long enough to feel fulfilled. There are no slow spots or extra un-needed words. Each moment of this story will make you feel something, and that is the best compliment I can give any author.

The story does have elements of a bratty little girl and her no-nonsense Daddy that both heated my blood and made me giggle. There are a lot of sexy scenes in this one, but there are also secrets, broken hearts, mistrust, caution, and determination. Everything about this one will keep you glued to the pages from beginning to end.

The first book in the duet is Unzoned. It is novella length and is a friends-to-lovers story. Would you risk a great friendship to pursue your bestie, and risk ruining your relationship? That's the question Jade wants answered. I love the way Garrick has finally had enough and takes charge, breaking down all the walls Jade tries to put between them-the D/s dynamic seemed to fit naturally in their relationship. Short but steamy and emotional.
Carissa helped her friend Jade find happiness with Garrick in Unzoned. Until Daddy is Carissa and Jamison's age play story. Carissa doesn't believe kink relationships can last. She is being pursued by Daddy Dom Jamison, who is hopeful in his belief that his good girl will want something long term. I liked Carissa as a secondary character in Unzoned. She was pretty independent and had a bit more experience as a submissive than Jade. Carissa was complex-worked hard as a nurse, volunteered at a refuge, committed, compassionate, and annoyingly bratty. I liked Jamison, who had a lot of integrity. I struggled with their dynamic; sometimes it seemed such hard work for a new couple, but they get there in the end.

As always, Ms Stone delivers with this quick but excellent steamy romance. I know I can count on greatly enjoying her characters, plots & writing. She superbly balances angst, romance, steam to arrive at a wonderfully satisfying resolution. I look forward to her upcoming stories!
UNTIL DADDY:
Until Daddy follows the blossoming DD/lg relationship of Jamison & Carissa. Due to Carissa's family history (sad but not physically abusive) she doesn't believe any 'love' relationship lasts. Therefore she agrees to a 30 day agreement of DD/lg with Jamison. He accepts because he genuinely wants to be with her & plans in 30 days to convince her they need to remain together indefinitely.
Their relationship progresses, she tests his DD commitment several times & he firmly but calmly enacts punishments & rewards to demonstrate he takes his DD role in her life seriously & lovingly.
In addition, Jamison's father is causing ever increasing tension which is negatively affecting Jamison & Carissa's path to love while Garrett & Jade try to help.
Jamison & Carissa soon realize they love each other but different mental constraints prevent them from openly declaring their true feelings. This, of course, leads to a meltdown that breaks up & separates our H/h.

In conclusion, I loved how the H/h separation was resolved: it was touching, loving, gentle, honest and for me, VERY satisfying. I do so enjoy this author's books :0)

A short, sweet, funny and sexy novella by Measha Stone. Jade and Garrick have been friends for years. This novella sees them changing from friends to lovers and at the same time engaging into a D/s relationship.
Even though this is a short novella there is still a lot of story in there and the development of their relationship.

This is the story of Carissa and Jamison. They meet at a club and there is an instant connection between them, but Carissa is scared. But then she didn’t count on jamison. Once a daddy sets his eyes on a girls, he won’t let her go.
Both were great characters. Carissa was so passionate and determined about her work and helping people in need. She was a very warm, kind and loving person.
jamison was perfect for her, because he took take of her and supported her. I like that fact that Jamison came from money, but didn’t let that rule him or the people he loved. He stood for what he believed in.
I just loved all the scenes and chemistry they had together.. Even though I wanted to slap jamison on the head at a certain point. there was a lot of heat, but also funny and tender moments.
It is a great read and I would recommend it.

Did you ever have that friend you didn't want to be "friends" with anymore? Well, in this story, Garrick and Jade have been friends, but he is determined to make it more than that. These two have known each other for so long, and now he wants to take it to the next level, but Jade is unsure. She doesn't want to ruin anything between them. Can Garrick win her over? Will Jade realize she has feelings for him as well? These two characters have incredible chemistry and I loved their interactions. While this may be a novella, it is packed with hotness! I truly enjoyed this and you will too!

Although this story follows a well known path: rich guy meets poor girl at his BDSM club, both with the same kink, both with the same hang-ups, but with different takes on relationships, Ms Stone padded this one with some goodies.
The characters are well developed and believable. We have one Daddy Dom looking for his forever-girl and one girl who is convinced forever is not for her. Add some good friends in both of their lives and parents you would love to strangle. The following struggles and misunderstandings are inevitable.
You know where the story will end but the way there is enjoyably paved with a Daddy who is strict but not over the top and a girl who just cannot keep her mouth in check or trust that her decisions might be understandable to him.
The developing dynamic between those two makes for a sizzling, enjoyable read.
The open questions at the end are an enticement to read more of this series.

Oh I loved this one it was short but so sweet as Garrick and Jade bff forever and in the friend zone , will making a move ruin it all as they come head to head no longer wanting to wait and let the true feelings out and taking that leap into something more powerful. This couple have amazing chemistry but will Jade take the chance and let her feelings out.

What a beautiful passionate story that gives us all the emotion and feels you could want. Carissa is very strong headed and terrified of a long term relationship they just don't work but something about her draws Jamison in and he cant let go. He is everything a Daddy should be and is a strict one but is he patient enough to deal with his baby girl and keep her in line and safe. They have such a connection and make a great couple and have to deal with a lot and jump over a lot of hurdles and I was cheering for them all the way.
Oh I loved this one it was short but so sweet as Garrick and Jade bff forever and in the friend zone , will making a move ruin it all as they come head to head no longer wanting to wait and let the true feelings out and taking that leap into something more powerful. Carissa is very strong headed and terrified of a long term relationship they just don't work but something about her draws Jamison in and he cant let go. This set is a must-read. Jade and Garrick are so mouthwateringly sexy together. Finally getting out of the friend zone and exploring what each one needs. Their past makes it an easier transition from friends to lovers.
Carissa and Jamison are so good together. Learning what the other wants and needs and being able to fulfill that need. Their dynamic is sweet and passionate. I love that their kink is in the middle. I especially liked Jamison’s gift for Carissa because when she stopped being a Good Girl it was hot to read about what happened to her when she became a Bad Girl.

Unzoned: A fascinating tale that has lots of twists and turns as Jade and Garrick go from best friends into lovers with elements of BDSM and lots of hot sexy scenes. I really enjoyed reading this tale and recommend it as well worth reading. Very entertaining tale. This is my honest opinion.

I loved this story and the wonderful characters in it. Carissa an ER Nurse goes to a BDSM club with her friend for a girls night out. While there, she meets Jamison. From that point on their relationship blossoms into something special although there are bumps in the road,they make it work. I absolutely love Measha's book and so will you.

A fantastic pair of stories from Measha Stone.
Following Garrick and Jade, then Jamison and Carissa, the Dark Lace duet is just what any romantic little needs. There's a lot of romance, plenty of spanking, and some quick little twists in the stories that make this duet a must-read. Not to mention the underlying humor.

But will Jade give them a chance to be more and follow her own heart, or will her fears drive them apart? This book is fast paced, entirely captivating, and one I really enjoyed reading! The characters are realistic with an engaging storyline, and I loved their passion, connection, and even their drama. I felt like I could completely relate to Jade because I feel like I would have a lot of the same reactions that she has to the changing dynamics of their relationship. I loved that she wanted to chase with her heart, but I also loved she had a healthy sense of fear. Garrick, at times, seemed like the typical Dom, confident and dominant with a caring side, and I really enjoyed his vulnerable moments. I liked that he was able to comfort Jade when needed, but was also able to push her. There’s a small bit of drama in this book that helps add to the storyline, but I really think the aspect that shines the most is the connection between Garrick and Jade!
Until Daddy is the second book in the Dark Lace series. Carissa and Jamison meet during a Christmas party and scene, and while Jamison thinks that everything went well and he felt a connection, Carissa runs scared. When he finally convinces her to give them a chance, it’s with an end date in mind. At the end of the month, will Carissa realize they’re perfect for each other, or will all of her fears about relationships come true? I really enjoyed this book and loved the dynamic between Carissa and Jamison! I loved how well they worked together in a relationship, loved the power exchange, loved the tiny bit of age play they participated in, and even loved their drama. I always find it fascinating when it’s the lead female character that’s scared of commitment. Carissa has a poor past with her parents and ex’s to give her much hope for the future with a man. But that doesn’t stop her from craving more, as well as having a generous heart and she’s one that’s passionate about the things and people she cares about. Jamison, at first, seemed pretty simple. Daddy Dom, caring and stern, successful in his businesses... but the more time we spent with him, I loved that he had layers of past hurts that you just couldn’t tell at first. His relationship with his father and mother, how he does business, added a deepness to his character that I really loved. Their connection was true and passionate, I loved that they helped each other and build each other up, and they both made mistakes.
Punishing Her is a Club Dark Lace short story that’s an extra bonus to this collection. Thomas and Susan have been married for years, but could her unsafe and rule breaking actions one night ruin their relationship? This story may be short, but there’s a lot of emotions and heat! While Susan may have had a good reason to want to let loose, she made some serious poor decisions. I loved Thomas’ protective nature toward his wife and the love that he shows her, even through a punishment. This story is almost more of a teaser, but while it’s the end of the collection, I hope it’s not the end of a series!

When a misunderstanding threatens the couple, can it be saved? Did Jade over react? Did Garrick not tell her everything out of fear of what she might do? And will he fight to get her back? I'll admit, there were a few times I really wanted to be able to smack Jade because she was so wishy washy. She knows she loves him but she doesn't want to ruin the friendship. It's like she's trying to destroy it on purpose. What happens? Well, you'll just have to get the book to find out! Ms. Stone knows how to hook her readers and reel them into the stories she weaves!!!! Get it and tell me you aren't hooked!!

So, this moved a bit slow, but it was a short story and had a good amount of tension as they navigated this new relationship.

UNTIL DADDY - This is Carissa and Jamison’s story. This is a companion story to their friend’s story in Unzoned. He immediately tests the waters with her at the club and while she enjoys it, she knows it will never turn into more. Jamison isn’t on the same page and he wants more from her than the one month they first agreed to, but will he be able to change her mind?
So, this moved even slower than Unzoned, and there were moments that I was very confused which could have been errors that were fixed. At one point it was said they knew each other for years, but they had met less than a month ago. Overall it was a good companion to Unzoned, but it made me realize that DD/LG isn’t my cup of tea. It did have a similar amount tension as they navigated their relationship.

So, this moved a bit slow, but it was a short story and had a good amount of tension as they navigated this new relationship.

UNTIL DADDY - This is Carissa and Jamison’s story. This is a companion story to their friend’s story in Unzoned. He immediately tests the waters with her at the club and while she enjoys it, she knows it will never turn into more. Jamison isn’t on the same page and he wants more from her than the one month they first agreed to, but will he be able to change her mind?
So, this moved even slower than Unzoned, and there were moments that I was very confused which could have been errors that were fixed. At one point it was said they knew each other for years, but they had met less than a month ago. Overall it was a good companion to Unzoned, but it made me realize that DD/LG isn’t my cup of tea. It did have a similar amount tension as they navigated their relationship.

unzoned - This was a short but very satisfying read. Well written characters and storyline develop quickly an a believable way. Great intro to one of the club owners. I loved Jade and Garrett and how their story had developed over years!! So hot!!!
Until Daddy - This was a sweet and sexy read about a girl trying to allow herself to trust that relationships can work when her experience has been the opposite. Jamison is strong and dominante and knows exactly what he wants.
Well written, wonderful characters and a good strong storyline! Loved it!
So all in all a Club dark lace is amazingly hot, sexy and loving. loved it!!
