Deep below the heart of San Francisco, concealed under an old grocery store, a Hell Gate is on the verge of opening and releasing the fallen angel, Samael, to torment the world.
Three souls, knowingly or unknowingly, attempt to free themselves from their own self-imposed prison. Mike is tormented by a pact to reunite with his soulmate. Grace is tormented by her family’s obligation. Alan is tormented whenever his tiny perfect world is threatened.
Their battle for freedom depends on whether they help to open the Hell Gate or risk their lives to keep it sealed.
Hell is going shopping for innocent blood in San Francisco. How challenging can that possibly be?
This was a good book. I really liked the two main characters. There were a few grammatical errors, but nothing that got in the way of the story. Worth the read, but not the best written story I've ever read, good for a short read. I will be looking into the next book of the series to see what happens next to our heroes.
If you like horror, gore, and a splash of humor, this book is for you. It’s got some really good character development and plenty of depth, along with some really creative scenes. All in all a satisfying story
