When someone moves into your house, even if it is your grandmother, it takes some adjustment. And, when young Donny gets into innocent trouble, I'm sure all kids will be wondering what will happen next.

I hope I have the chance to read this to the kids while they are still at the 'right age' to appreciate the story.

A “lecture” doesn’t get any better than this. What a great way to help someone learn correct from incorrect actions without labels.

FYI - a four-year-old recommended this book - handing it to me when I said I’d not yet read it.

I’m agnostic, but came across this book volunteering, and thought it was great! A great message for both kids and their elders. I also loved the explanations at the beginning and end to add a little more learning to the mix. Cute and meaningful, and I loved reading about another religion/culture.
