This was a cute story. Zack is helping Jenna to try and have a good time on her non-honeymoon. While doing this, they have a really great time doing things that couples wouldnt do on a honeymoon. As they do these activities, they begin to grow closer and realize that they have something solid that they could build a relationship. I really liked this couple and loved watching them fall in love. Jenna is all alone and just needs someone to love and Zack doesnt know how to show his feeling. They ...more

5 Star review of The Anti Honeymoon by Bethany Michaels
Bethany Michaels is a new author to me and I found The Anti Honeymoon to be an entertaining read.
After finally having enough, Jenna ditches her jerk of a fiance Elliott, at the altar and with the help of her exs former business partner, Zach makes her escape.
Elliott was a snake and I wanted to smack him, I couldnt stand him. Whilst Zach was totally swoon worthy, I loved how supportive he was of Jenna.

They decide to partake of her

The Anti-Honeymoon was a delightful read which did entertain me quite a bit. Jenna decides at the last minute that she's really not down with marrying her fiance (Elliot was a complete douche), as he was determined to make their wedding into a publicity stunt, so she basically becomes a runaway bride. She ends up getting into a car which housed Zach, who wasn't a driver like she assumed, but it was the best mistake of her life. The rest of the story really takes place at the honeymoon location, ...more

The Anti-Honeymoon is a sassy contemporary romance about a soon to be bride calling off her wedding when her fiance cares more about the publicity than the actual marriage. Jenna decides to still go on her honeymoon that she was looking forward to and this is going to be one anti-honeymoon to remember.

Jenna is a sweet, fun, and likable woman who has been dreaming about her wedding day. But she never imagined marrying a person who cared more about making everyone else happy before her. She calls

Jennas wedding has been planned down to the last detail by her fiancé and the only thing she wanted was to have the family of her heart in the front row of the ceremony. When her fiancé even changes those plans she realizes that marriage to this man is not what she wants so she becomes the runaway bride when she believes Zach is an uber driver.

Zach was invited to the wedding by her fiancé but since their relationship ended on a sour note, he doesnt know why he is even here. When Jenna decides to

A sweet story about a woman who runs away from a groom who is all wrong for her and meets a guy who might just be Mr. Right.

Zach ends up helping Jenna when she leaves her fiance. Despite thinking he'll help her just a little, he is instead drawn to her and wants to spend more time together. This leads him to being with her at the resort she planned to spend her honeymoon at. I liked the creativity of all the anti-honeymoon. It really brought both of them out of their shells and gave them time to

This is the first book that I have read from this author and it wont be the last. I am not sure why it has taken me so long to read her work. Jenna has second thoughts about marrying her fiancé and when she decided to make a run for it, she jumps into a car and asks the driver to take her away quickly. She didnt realize that she jumped into Zachs car. They were so good together. Loved the adventures they went on. Great characters and good storyline.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley

Jenna thought she was on track for the perfect wedding and marriage, but on the day of the big event, she begins to notice things she hadnt paid attention to before and cant shake the niggling feeling that she is making a huge mistake. Satisfied that she cant go through with it, she high-tails it out of the church and ends up in Zachs back seat, thinking he is her hired car. When he reveals who he is and offers his aid in helping her escape to her
The anti-honeymoon by Bethany Michaels is a funny book.....

Poor Jenna feels like the whole of her wedding is a publicity stunt, the dress is horrid, the shoes too tight, but when her fiancé puts her two favourite people in the world in a tiny corner, Jennas had enough. It doesnt feel right and after talking to Aggie (one of the people she invited) Jenna has some serious thinking to do.....

Zach doesnt know why hes come to this stupid wedding, he and Eliot havent been friends for a while, and

Jenna is doubting her relationship with Elliot on her wedding day. She is not sure about the marriage or the groom. So she runs from the church and gets into a car and assumes the stranger is the driver. But turns out that stranger is Zach, Elliot's former business partner. With no place to go and no one to help Zach offers to plan her escape because he is really good at planning.

They decide to go the honeymoon resort and replace every couple activity with anti honeymoon activities. Like kick

I had such fun with The Anti-Honeymoon, between chuckle snorts and flipping pages to see what happens next, this story flew by and I completely enjoyed myself in this world.

Jenna already had doubts about this marriage but her now ex-fiancés latest action on their wedding day was the final straw in a pile of indifference from him that reached the ceiling. He was all about himself, her as a trophy wife, and really a huge publicity stunt of a wedding. You dont put the
Author Bethany Michaels delivers a cute and fun unputdownable romcom with The Anti-Honeymoon.

We meet Jenna who a few minutes before getting married realizes the man shes about to marry cares more about photo ops and appearances than her. Before making the biggest mistake of her life she skips her wedding and goes straight to her honeymoon with her ex-fiancés ex-best friend.

I enjoyed The Anti-Honeymoon so much. This was my first book by Bethany Michaels, but the premise of the book sounded interesting so I gave it a try and I"m so glad I did.

Jenna is engaged to Elliot, why I have no idea since he has no redeeming qualities, and makes the impulsive decision to literally leave him at the altar. She's looking to make an escape and with Zach, who she thinks is an Uber driver, gets out of there.  Zach ended up being a former business partner of Elliot and their

This is a sexy and fun story with insta-love and HEA. Hes rags to riches and she riches to rags.

After Jenna realizes Elliot is not the man for her, she runs away from her wedding and into an awaiting car driven by Zach, whom she mistakes as a chauffeur hired for the wedding. "You know we did everything backward, right? Jenna said. "First, we went on a honeymoon. Then we became friends."
"Then lovers," he said, his eyes flashing.
"And then we broke up. Now, we're married."
"Not your typical romance, that's true," he said. "But I wouldn't change anything."

The Anti-Honeymoon was my first romance by Bethany Michaels and it has me very excited to read ore of hers. The pacing of this book was done really well; in the very beginning of the book it was very intense- you know

This is the first book I have read by this author and Im left wondering why Bethany Michaels has not crossed my path before now. I loved The Anti-Honeymoon, it was everything I expect in a five star read, great characters that you can relate to and a great plot with lots of feels.

I was sucked in by the cover at fist for this one. I thought it looked fun and whimsical!

Unfortunately, I feel like the cover didn't really match the story. The characters' descriptions didn't completely seem to line up with the models on this one. Which is totally fine...Just an observation.

Usually, I struggle with books in the beginning. It takes me a bit to connect with the characters. But, I actually think I liked the beginning of this one better than the rest. The start was was so

Such a fun light-hearted story! Jenna and Zach brought each other back to life, out of their lonely days. Talk about being in the perfect place at the perfect time! Zach was there when Jenna was making her escape from the wedding that should never have been. And what a great accomplice he was! Then turn into a great companion helping her get over Elliott. Elliott, the man who could have used a good spanking or two right from the start, was not a likeable character. I wish karma could have ...more

This is the first book I have read from this author and I absolutely plan on reading others. The Anti-Honeymoon was humorous, steamy and very entertaining. The book is about Jenna, a soon-to-be bride, who bolts from her wedding. She jumps in a car with a man she mistakenly believes is a valet and orders him to drive. Later she learns that the man is not a person hired to park cars, but a wedding guest named Zach.
Zach accompanies Jenna to Florida when she decides to use the reservations she made

Well this one took me a bit to really get into. It took me until the halfway point to really get hooked. I thought this book was set up very much like a soap opera. There are betrayals of the highest order and there are hookups that are steamy and filled with chemistry. I really enjoyed Jenna and Zach. They each has their issues that they were able to over come with each other. I enjoyed the romance as it was sweet and they made each other better as the story moved along.

Who are Elliot and Jenna? What decision does Elliot make that has Jenna angry? What does she threaten? Why? Who prompted Elliot's decision? Oh, Zach is so much fun! I like him! Oh my, the hut names and room service food names are over the top! Of course, going to a resort called 'Fantasy Island' means you should probably have some of those sorts of names. I could not stop laughing at the sip and paint adventure. My favorite line of the book was.... "Jenna leaned in to whisper to Zach, 'I think ...more

Fun read!

The Anti-Honeymoon was a super fun read. I will say, though, that I despised Jenna's ex-fiance from the moment I met him, as in I really wanted to strangle him with some of the things he said and did. Michaels did an ideal job turning the reader against him and it's no wonder Jenna decided to leave him. The first couple of chapters set a the foundation for a story that was really hard to put down once I got into it and I have to say that I had a couple of laugh out loud moments.

Luckily this total stranger is a good guy and not only helps her to get away but takes her to her honeymoon destination to hide out. This is the first time in coming across this author with the little tidbit picks my curiosity with this also having promising bits of humor also. Jenna got my attention right away with me wondering what next which was soon answered. Then enters Zach whom is a formula for a second chance in my eyes with things have gotten a bit interesting. This book was very predictable but so worth the read. The book was a fun and quick read. Jenna is more of a laid back take life as it comes and Zach is a type A personality everything has to be planned out, in this book everything is tossed in the air and nothing goes as planned for either. I really like Marcy she had a small part in the book was she was mighty. I would love to read her story next and see what trouble she gets into.
