Picked 1 possibility for a quilt for my daughter, Starry Night. I think with modern colors it could be brought up to date. I know she wouldn't go for the Americana look.

After quilting all these intervening years, I see more possibilities for these patterns!
I like the scrappy wonky plaid stars. And I can see using the gingerbread man quilt as a place to applique shapes of cookie cutters we used in the 1950's to preserve the memory of that time.
I also am grateful for our library systems that keep books so we can revisit them.
Oh, and the daughter referenced in the 2013 comment still loves stars :)

Some small, fast, fun projects, some seasonal suitable for gift giving. Went nuts when I first got the book and made several things.
