Super helpful!!!! Feels like I highlighted the entire book. A lot of material has come in handy for my surgery rotation but honestly wish I had read it sooner because it would’ve been applicable with some of my other rotations too.

VERY glad that I can get back to reading physical books/ebooks leisurely without feeling guilty about not finishing this one yet😅

THE BOOK to have in your white coat during your surgery rotation. It's perfect for scanning a few minutes before you scrub so you aren't totally obliterated by your scary attending when he/she pimps the hell out of you. The only downside is that it's a bit heavy - your shoulders will get a workout!

This is definitely NOT a book to use for shelf prep. It is, however, well worth it for the floors.

Definitely a valuable aid on surgical clerkship. Carry this one around with you as a quick reference, but study other texts or review books to gain fuller clinical picture. I would recommend Case Files as a supplement to this book. All in all this is a great resource and one of the few books that I have gotten through cover-to-cover since beginning 3rd year rotations!

Great book, I actually still use this one every so often. I like the format of questions and answers. The questions helped hook my attention, so I read the answers with more care. I still use this when suturing people.

Fantastic. A succinct, yet surprisingly thorough review of surgery in an incredibly useful quiz question format. I find it easy to quiz myself or a friend, and it's extremely easy to implement in a spaced repetition study regimen. I have been asked a host of these questions both in theater and on ward rounds by my consultants/attendings.
