🖊 My review: I re-read this book many times growing up. It is informative, written at a level that anyone can understand. The illustrations are mesmerizing.

With this book, as a boy, I started my rock collection which THANKFULLY I gave away when I moved out of my parents home.
Now, my wife collects gems (the more expensive type), and my oldest daughter does too.

This is a great book to give to a child.
