"""Rhyming Inkpen, Pouring Emotions is a collection of short poems portraying deep feelings of heart and soul. The poems are inspired by the author’s life and travel experiences. These short poems are on different aspects of life, love, and nature."""
The book is a collection of short poems and micro poems revolving around the theme of human emotions and Mother Nature. There is no set precedence followed in all poems, some follow a rhyming scheme, a couple are in blank verse and the length of poems differ as well. As a person who consumes poetry as elixir of life, the book did not really stand out for me. It is good, on a beginner level, as an introduction to poetry. So I will definitely recommend it to people who are new to the genre. But I did not really find anything new or unique, to the point I felt that certain topics that are touched via verse are very over-used already. From what I understand to be the concept of micro-poetry, it is supposed to say a lot in a few lines; to convey the meaning or multiple meanings with the use of simple words. And along those lines, the poetry in this book felt inadequate to me. My point here again, that someone not very familiar with micro-poetry can definitely benefit from this book and hold it as an introduction. There are a couple poems that I really liked, such as – ‘Mate’ , ‘Touch’ and ‘Man’. These, I felt, were really pure pieces that touched a chord. In a lot of poems, I felt some forced words that were just there to maintain the rhyme or to justify the ending. It is, of course, the writer’s choice, but it is just something to point out. The thing I loved the most is the cover. It is very calming and serene. In conclusion, the book has some beautiful poems and you can really benefit from it if you aren’t very familiar with the genre already as it covers a lot of grounds. But if you are someone who likes poetry and has read a fair bunch of it, you might not like this book.
Rhyming Inkpen is a collection of short poem which touch every aspect like Life, love, nature. And something new for me I'm new to poem world and not a big fan of Heavy/big/bulky poems so I can say it's a good start for beginners like me or who want to accelerate the exposure in new dimension of literature, then it's a good start.
Although I can relate with majority part of this collection but my favourites are Something, Warrior, Rush, Too young to be called old.
And here is something I want to share from this collection:-
'Morning Tea' Blend of emotions! In the form of a potion!
Although she is a writer but writing an article and a poem is different forms of literature and pouring your emotion in this form is really a next level job.
Kudos to her for this amazing work, and I'm looking forward to read more.
And her inspiration is Ruskin Bond for writing this book.
Anupriya Asthana is a solo traveler, photographer, writer, travel blogger and artist. And most important she love nature.
🌸The book is a collection of short poems which describes freedom love, a sense of hope, perspective, a ventrure to find yourself beyond boundaries, to be unstoppable.
🌸The words in the book felt true like the 3am talks.
🌸The honesty and transparency of feelings made me fall in love with the words.
🌸The narration is nicely done that it feels like your inner thoughts were being heard, your emotions were crafted into words.
🌸The writing is so calm and soothing that it just felt right.
🌸The thing that inspired me the most is the author's dedication towards Ruskin Bond, I am really amazed how she chased her dreams and been successful in meeting him and getting inspired by him.
My most favorite poem -
Neither we can cure this alone, Nor we should play the blame game. It's a duty of every individual, Let's do this together to bring a change!
Love. . Dress me with the glitter of passion And I will embrace you with the warmth of love! . . ♥️This book is a vivid collection of 74 amazing poetries by the author. ♥️I loved each and every verse in it. The words may seem simple but they had a deeper meaning. ♥️Some poetries touched my heart like Love, Special, Little Things etc. ♥️The ones who love poetry should read it. ♥️It will take you to the most romantic journey with words. ♥️The title is appropriate and the cover seems quite attractive.
This collection of 74 short poems is just wow, including poems from morning tea to late night dreams. All the human emotions are portrayed in a very rhythmic and poetic manner. Poems are very deep, effective and meaningful.
