First rule? Don’t sleep with your best friend’s little sister.
Second? Don’t sleep with your teammate’s sister.

Danica
He’s my big brother’s teammate and everything I am not.
He’s a rich, arrogant, entitled snob.
He lives in an Italian villa, for God’s sake. I live in a hole in Prague.
People think he’s hilarious, charming--the smooth-talking, panty-dropping F1 race car driver. Always with a joke; a mischievous, sexy smirk.
But nothing about my life is funny, and I’m not here for the reasons my brother thinks I am.

Dante
If one were paying attention—and I am—this girl screams trouble.
Forbidden, off-limits, a terrible idea. She’s all of it, and I don’t do complications.
My life was neat and tidy.
Until she stole my wallet.
Then the blue-eyed siren took everything else--my best friend, my career, things I didn’t know I could lose.

‘Just do me this favor,’ he said. ‘Help my sister out,’ he said. ‘You’re my best friend,’ he said.
I tried to stay away, but you know what they say about good intentions…

So far I didn’t like this as much as the other two in the series but that might be because I don‘t really like the trope of the book.

Dante was amazing and I loved to learn more about him after what we learned in book 2. He is such a sweet and caring person, who would have thought?
He‘s the best brother and even tho he is almost too obsessed with security but I get where he‘s coming from and it makes him so much more real and vulnerable, I love it!
I understand why Danica does what she had to do but I‘m glad that she realized that there are other ways and in the end asks for the help she knows she needs and I love this character development!
Not much I can say without spoiling anything about her tho.

My problem with this book was more that I couldn’t really connect to the characters, for me they didn’t have that much chemistry but again that might just be because I don‘t enjoy this trope.
I very much loved the cameos tho!!

Excited for the next

This was awesome! It was a great book, it has a lot going on and such great main characters. It feels like a fresh book. I haven’t read any books that center around Formula 1 (please, if you know any other titles, let me know), so this for me was like fresh air! I am a huge F1 fan (go Charles Leclerc!), thanks to my better half and it was an amazing surprise seeing two of my passions combined: romance books and F1!

Because I am me and request ARCs without checking if this is book 1 or 45 from the series, I have started this one with book 3. And I do not regret it one bit! Danica and Dante are two strong souls and when combined, everything goes BOOOM! She is an enigma to everyone. Her past still haunts her and her secrets can destroy the quiet live she wants to have with her new found brother and his soon to be wife. But not everything is as it seems, because Danica has a burden. Being faced with the possibility of deportation, she has to accept a job as Dante’s PA. He is her brother’s best friend and teammate at F1, an amazing F1 driver and dead gorgeous. He also has an accent. Did I mention that?

Dante can see right through her walls. He wants to protect her, he wants to chase the darkness away and make all the monsters disappear from her life. He must do this as her boss, as her friend, as her brother’s best friend. Because having a romance with the best friend’s sister is not allowed! Still, with every day they spend together, her walls crack and his heart breaks.

I loved these two and their passion. What Kat Ransom did with this book for me is a magnificent work. The way she builds the tension, the way she brings out the fears and all emotions is amazing. I cried and laughed with all the characters in the story. It was an incredible journey reading it. The F1 references were great as well. I am familiar with the competition and even following the “F1 gossip”, so the representation is as close as you can have it (at least from what I’ve read and seen on TV).

As perfect as this was when it comes to our couple and the other F1 drivers or PAs, I do have to admit that I did not enjoy very much how Danica’s problems were solved. I think the bad man got away too easily and too quick or sudden. I should decrease one star for this, but my treacherous heart won’t allow it.

So I will stick to 4.5 stars, with my full devotion to Kat Ransom and “The Fast Series”. I do recommend you read it. Even if it’s book 3, it can easily be read as a standalone. It’s great, it has beautiful characters, best friends, F1 competition and an incredible way of making you feel!

WoW! Words fail me right now, but I’m so in ALL THE FEELS after finishing Fast and Hot.

This is the second book (and from this series) that I’ve read by Kat Ransom. I loved EVERYTHING about this book, the characters, the flow the plot, the emotions that swallowed me whole.

I’ll start by saying I started this series with Book 4 and fell head over heels in love with Brodie and Mila, but oh my freakin heart— Dante Renzo has just swooped in and stole the very breath from me, my every heart beat is for him (Gahhhh, I still love you Brodie but oh man do I love me some Italian!). And, Dani, this girl, this woman— what a heroine!

“... 𝐼 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑡𝑜 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑 𝑚𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡, 𝑏𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝐼 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑖𝑛 𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑒.“

Kat writes her characters with so much depth, it’s easy for one to see the layers as they’re peeled away, but what’s more is you feel them climbing deeper and deeper into your veins.
Dante and Dani are worlds apart yet still they have the same monsters that haunt them.

“𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑖𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑠, 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑦 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑒𝑡𝑠 𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑒.“

Kat shifts gears in her writing like a seasoned F1 pro, from light and flirty, to funny and entertaining, to panty-melting chemistry and before you know it a host of emotions is unleashed.

I requested an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review (and because I enjoyed Book 4 of this series.)

After the death of her mother Danica found herself living on the streets where she came under the influence of the wrong man. She has recently found out that she has a brother and when she reunites with Cole she had her own agenda but developing feelings for him wasn’t part of her plan.

Dante is not only Cole’s teammate but his best friend as well. When Cole asks him to give Danica a job he can’t say no however Cole has made it clear to Dante that their had better not be anything other than professional.

As they spend time together Danica realizes that there is much more to Dante than his privileged and confident demeanor while Dante begins to see the real woman and not what she appears to be by the hand that life has dealt her. Being together is a recipe for disaster but will they be able to resist?

Great characters, witty banter and a emotional storyline will keep you captivated until the last page.

Danica & Dante are nothing alike on paper.
He is a rich playboy with an established career. She is from the wrong side of life, trying to make ends meet. He likes everything to be in its own space, compartmentalized, and she has loose ends everywhere.
But underneath it all, their wants are alike.
He had such a way with words. Just kind of melted me, and Danica. She never stood a chance.
I loved that she wanted to work on herself, and that he was encouraging. Their friendship dynamic set the stage for everything else to follow and it was beautiful.
I have not read the other books in this series, but I’m going back to read them now!

Danica has had it rough since her mother died. Her and her Dante are nothing alike but they just kinda work. Dante see's more than Danica wants him too but he has put her in the no touch zone. Her brother Cole has the genius idea for her to become Dante's PA and that's how she learns he is so much more than she thought. This book had my emotions all over the place. By the end of the book I really liked Danica and Dante together the writing style really set it all off.

I’ve read Cole & Emily’s story in the last book so I could wait to read Dante’s story.
Danica came to her half brother Cole for reasons he would never know about and it wasn’t just to get acquainted his him. Dani has secrets that no one really knows since she’s not talking. Dante see’s her as a Tiny Tim of sorts, looking for handouts. He didn’t think he would have to hear Cole tell him to babysit her but no touchy, plus Dante never thought he would witness her pickpocketing and stealing from him the same night. She made an impression that first night. From Tiny Tim to his Sparrow, Dani became his new PA and still she’s forbidden to him, he want to desperately touch. Their first night where he had to babysit Dani she stolen more from him then just his money and his gloves... she stole his playboy way of a heart. Now he’s fighting with himself to keep his distance but Dani don’t make it easy on the poor guy. All fun in love until your best friend becomes you bitter enemy. Cole walked in when Dani and Dante are in a compromising situation ..........

Oooh. Wow. This was my favourite book in the series by far, I never wanted it to end. I loved Dani and Dante's love story, the slow burn of it all and their passion for each other had me kicking my feet and blushing. This is definitely a book I recommend every romance reader to pick up and give a try because it ate this book up like my last meal.

This book has one of my favorite genres to read. I love a good brother's best friend falling for his little sister book and this one was the best! You have a cocky Italian who drives fast cars and takes care of his family. The rumors are he's a love and leave em kind of guy but that all changes when Danica enters his life. He knows she is off limits but that doesn't stop him from getting to know her a little better. The transformation of Dante and Danica is a beautiful. Watching these two characters grow in this story was uplifting. Danica, I had to give credit to. She grew up only knowing her mom and after her loss, she had a rough life and didn't hang with the best crew. She is a master at her skill even getting her brother and Dante in the act. She has secrets that she keeps to herself until Dante breaks down her walls. She grows up a lot in this book. Despite being into a world she knows nothing about but learns quickly who to trust and who not to. She has a good head on her shoulders and knows when to walk away even though it might break her heart in the end. I applaud her for wanting to get life together and make herself better before committing to Dante. Sure it might have hurt both of them, she knew she needed this time to improve herself and get what she wanted. I love their dynamics as well. These two just work really well together. It's obvious that Dante has been taught and maybe it's just the Italian in him but he has respect for the females in his family and Danica. He was sweet and charming but when it came time to race, he had his head right. As you can guess if you've read the other books, Cole wasn't thrilled and was honestly hurt with the news of them. It was explosive. There's a sweetness about this book as well. All the characters truly care about each other and look out for each other. The last few chapters of this book was just perfection and made me laugh and swoon so much!! It was a great way to end this book! There's even some light flirting that I loved so freakin much! This series of books just keeps getting better and better!

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

This is my first Kat Ransom book and I am already looking up her previous books so I can add them all to my TBR, including the first two books of this series. It hooked me in right from the very start, even having not read the other two books. I am sure I would have a better backstory on the secondary characters if I had read them, but this is a standalone novel so it can be read on its own.

Dante and Danica. Wow, just wow. Like I said before, it hooked me in from the start. I needed to know everything I could. And the more I knew, the more I fell in love with these characters. Dante is a smooth talker, and the fact that he dirty talks in multiple languages… I need several glasses of ice cold water after that.

The character dynamics were on point and I felt a good connection with all of the characters, including the side characters. I was immersed in the entire story, needing it all to go the way it was supposed to. I fought for them, with them… I cried with them, longed with them, and got so upset, I had to set my kindle down before I ended up tossing it across the room.

All in all, this was a fun read that had me wanting more and more by the time it was all said and done. I am excited to read the previous two books in the series and I am really excited for the fourth book that is coming out later this month.

Four stars for this fun F1 formula racing romance that has all the things you love about a sports romance plus more. This is definitely one I’d love to have a part of my forever library.

This is the third book in The Fast Series and so far it is my favorite. Danica and Dante not only have chemistry that is off the charts but they both have a backstory that is heartbreaking. Danica's mom died when she was 16 and instead of facing the foster care system in the states she decides to flea to the Czech Republic where she meets Gregor and Rayna. Gregor is a thief and Rayna is his little sister. Gregor convinces Danica to reach out to her brother who is in the F1 series to try and fence him for money and gifts but instead Danica finds herself living with the family she always wanted. She finally has a brother and someone to call her own.

Dante is Cole's teammate and has been told to keep his hands off of Danica. Dante gets told to take Danica on as his Personal Assistant to allow her to stay in England and work on getting her Visa. Dante and Danica end up getting close and she shares her past with him and everything she has done since meeting Cole in England. These two can not keep their hands and hearts from one another.

I absolutely adore and love this series and can not wait for the fourth book to be released. It was great to read about these new characters but to also see the couples from the first 2 books as well. I really hope we get a story on Rayna and Mila. Thank you to book sirens and Kat Ransom for allowing me to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This book is more of a 2.5 than a three but I went higher since I enjoyed the end half more than the beginning. Overall, a general thing I always say is that I wish there was more F1 and raving in general, but the author does a good job fitting in scenes within the general plot of the story. I liked Dante in the book prior to this one in a comedic relief way and so was looking forward to his story. I thought that parts of it were annoying, especially the “I treat women right and respect all of them” aspect of Dante in the first several chapters. He said the same general line about treating women right and respecting them and being a feminist over and over again and it really bothered me. It was super repetitive but the dialogue developed along with the character so it improved a lot by the end. Dani in the beginning was much the same way, especially with the class dynamic and constantly talking about hating the rich. The theme was fine, talking about class divides and how different experiences are with and without money and support, but the beginning was so repetitive and negative and stereotyped that I struggled to get through. It improved throughout and while it wasn’t my favorite plot line, had some beyond cheesy moments, and I cringed several times, there was also aspects that I really enjoyed. I also loved the role Mika, Jack, and Katja, as well as Cole and Emily, had throughout.

Third book in world of F1 driver and this is about Dante and Danica.
Dante was spending Christmas time with his best friend F1 driver Cole and his fiancee. When Cole asked Dante to show Danica, his half sister around London, he couldn't refuse. He was intrigue by Danica and he wanted to know more about her until she stole his wallet.
Dante knew bro code, never to date your best friend's sister. When he gets a call from Cole again begging him to take Danica as his PA. He never had a need to have a PA and Cole's PA was handling the load fine. Plus Dante couldn't forget what she did during his holiday break. But when his fiancee Emily begged him, he couldn't refuse and he gave in. He really wanted to know more about Danica why she had to steal from him and why.
Danica is more complicated heroine in this series. It took awhile for me like her character. She was stealing often and she seems too shady until you read about her life. She lost her mother when she was 16 years old and she birth father denied everything so she decided to travel across the country and live in Czech. Her life in Czech wasn't all rainbows and her ticket out of there was Cole. She was suppose to spend some time with them and get enough money but Cole was too nice and she didn't lose only family she has.
Now Dante and Danica is working together and they will have to learn to trust each other when Danica has hard time trusting anyone. She is slowly opening to Dante more than Cole and she learns he is a trustworthy person. Until Dante and Danica are more than just boss and PA.
This story has most emotional roller coaster ride than other ones from the series. I ended up enjoying Dante and Danica's story more than other ones. It would be helpful to read the 2nd one about Emily and Cole's relationship and how they are woven into this story.

Danica needed help & went to her brother, Cole, to ask for it. This is how she ends up as Dante's PA (Dante is Cole's best friend & teammate), after impressing him with something she pulled that had my eyebrows raised to be honest. Now, he's doing his best to keep from touching her because Cole told him no, and the chemistry they have is only making him want her all the more. And it was at this point that I was on the edge of my seat, because you already know that they're going to go against Cole, AND secrets don't make friends. Dani never thought she would start feeling something for Dante after they start spending time together, as her past is sketchy which has her with trust issues, and sky high walls. This means there's enough angst to punch me right in the feels, and a lot of anxiety, as her original agenda is also on the table waiting to be revealed. Fast & Hot was a fantastic story which kept me glued to the paged cover to cover, which is why I'm trying to make this short & sweet because I don't want to give anything away. Now, it's time for everyone to hit their one click buttons, as you can't go wrong with this story! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Just finished up the third installment of the Fast Series. This steamy romance series is set in the world of Formula 1 racing. I wasn’t sure that Kat Ransom could do better than the first book – I do love a sexy Scot, but I think this third book is even better. This time she gives us Dante Renzo a smoking hot Italian racecar driver. The romance between Dante and Danica is of course off the charts, but the relationship between them is also really tender. They are both grieving in different ways and they help heal each other along the way.

So if you want something to get your engines revving (see what I did there) race to your bookstore on March 20th and get this book. You can read it as a stand alone or pick up the other books in the series as well. They all have good story lines, HEA endings and the characters continue to make appearances throughout the series.

Thanks to @authorkatransom for the ARC (this is my honest review). I think Dante has ruined me for other men for awhile!

No Touchy!!!

What do you do when your best friend asks you to hire his newly found sister with the strict orders of no touching?! That is exactly what Dante and Danica are about to find out. These two came from completely different past lives with Dante having it all; loving mother, sisters, money and a starring role as top driver on the F1 circuit. Danica has nothing; her mother died and she was on the streets living by stealing things for a no good man that took her in.

Now Danica has found her brother she hadn’t known had existed and finding out he was also a famous F1 racer was sent to steal from him as well but things changed. She really developed feelings for her brother and his new wife. Cole was doing everything he could think of to take care of Danica even setting her up with a job as PA for Dante, his best friend.

I loved this author’s writing throwing in humor along with some steamy scenes all the while giving me a push/pull feeling with these two. I will definitely be checking out more of her work!!

I received this free eARC novel from Booksirens and the author. This is my honest review.

I have been able to get all of the books in this series through BookSirens so far and I'm so glad because I am really enjoying them! This novel is my favorite, though. I really love Dante and Danica. Both of these characters are amazing and seeing them fall hard for each other was great!

Danica is one tough chick. The amount of terrible things she's gone through in her life makes me want to wrap her up and protect her. And when Dante finally saw what her life was like before meeting him and Cole really solidified how amazing Danica really is.

And Dante is a hot, manly man but also a mommas boy, who is proud of that title. Here doesn't shy away from it and he is so loyal to his family it's swoon worthy.

I get Cole's perspective on things, but honestly both Dante and Danica are adults so he should have accepted their decision and moved on.

I am so glad I got a chance to read this eARC and I hope I continue finding this series to see what else happens!

Another great addition to his series! It took me a bit to warm up to Danica, but she came around for me. Dante on the other hand I already loved, and he got better and better in this book. Any man who is surrounded by women (mom, 4 younger sisters and girlfriend) and can not go completely crazy, is certainly one to keep around! No wonder he is good at compartmentalizing!!

I will say that the tension between Dante and Cole was rough in this book. You knew something was going on with Cole, but I just didn't like how that played out and then all came to a head at the end. Felt a bit off, but I understand that it wasn't the main story line in this one so it shouldn't take up any more pages than necessary. I laughed every time Dani called Dante a bird pervert. Their banter was lots of fun. Although my favorite was when they were in Italy at Dante's place and he told her she better run......"Run, Sparrow"......he always gave her a head start and it always got a smile out of me!

Looking forward to the next one in this series :)

Fast and Hot is number 3 in the F1 series and it delivers. Danica, Dani, finds her half-brother in London. After living in poverty since the age of 16 she is brought into luxury by her famous F1 driver brother Cole and his fiancé Emily. I love Dani’s attitude. She will do anything to survive, it is all she knows. What she isn’t prepared for is Coles best friends and teammate Dante. Sexy on a stick is a great way to describe him. Dani and Dante are thrown together and have some of the steamiest scenes. They both must learn to trust and love, not just in each other but in themselves also. This book has all the right steamy bits! Some authors fall short at the end where the steamy scenes come to a stop at the end. Not here, there is all the good stuff right up until the last chapter! Make sure to pick up this standalone! This can be read without reading the other two, but characters from the other books are in here so why not just read all 3 ;)

This is the third book of this serial and it started a little slow. All that characterizing made me a little bored and Danica unsympatical. Dante is a rich Formula One driver with a lot of money. Danica a poor girl from Prague that just found her brother in Cole. Cole is Dantes best friend so problems have program.
Both characters are absolutely contrary. Dante the rich one who has it all, and Danica the poor ,stealing, homeless orphan.
Danica is sassy and Dante needs everything sorted. But he is hot. And Danica is a forbidden fruit.
But Kate Ransom always has the power in her writing to put those extraordinary characters together very clear. No matter what the rest of the world is saying.
The language is fantastic and the story exciting. The writing style shows the feelings of the characters and mixing humor along with some steamy scenes .

Five fast and hot stars.

This is book three in the series, but can be read as a standalone, but personally I'd recommend reading the first two books to really get a true feel for the story and characters. Now onto Dante and Dani. I loved Dante, he is smooth and sexy. We met him in earlier books, and you knew he would have a story to tell. His personal story about his father etc. really makes him all the more attractive, mainly because he shows his vulnerable side. Now onto Dani...I will be honest, I took me a long time to warm up to Dani. Now I know she had it hard, but I just couldn't get past the things she done, I know, I know she had reasons, but hey, each to their own. Eventually they grew on me as a couple, and I did like Dani's spirit and fire.

The book did evoke emotional reactions from me, and I was glad the couple got the HEA they both deserved.

Enjoyed the book and will keep an eye out for more from this series, and this author in general as I really like her writing style.

This is the third book in this series and would be beneficial to read books one and two before reading this one. I loved the first two books and at first, I thought this book was going to be a disappointment. Boy, was I wrong! The book starts a little slow and Danica was not a person that I cared for. She is the unknown stepsister of Cole from book two. Cole talks his best friend and teammate, Dante, to hire Danica as his Personal Assistant, with the warning, “Hands off my sister!” Of course, Dante finds it hard to heed Cole’s warning. As the story progresses and I found out more of Danica’s past, I could understand why she was doing illegal things and my heart broke for her. I think this is my favorite of the series. I highly recommend this entire series! I was provided an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I'm seriously left with the biggest smile on my face after reading this story. It had everything you could want. It just tugged so hard on my heart strings. It was sweet, insanely sexy, funny, and a tear jerker. I just couldn't get enough.

Dante is an Italian Adonis. I melt at his every word. He's struggled with this father's death for a long time and had to take the role of protector for his mother and sisters. He never saw Danica coming and how she could change everything.

Danica has been on her own for a long time since the death of her mother. A caretaker for a young girl that she can't turn her back on. She has family now and she's unsure on how to navigate this new path. It's hard to resist the charms of Dante. Things started out rocky but she's come to see things in Dante that she never thought she would.

Gah, I just love this story so much!

This was my first book I've read from Kat Ransom, and it certainly won't be the last. The world building allowed me to easily envision what was happening, and the characters were easy to get invested it. I don't typically read books out of order, but this made a great stand alone, and I look forward to meeting some of the familiar names and faces from Fast & Hot.

I loved that the book switched between POV, because it's always fun to see a situation from two different perspectives. It also makes for some great amusement to see just how different the characters think about the same situation or shenanigans that are going on.

It had great proportions of humor, drama, and steam, all things that I love in my books. Would I recommend this to a friend? Absolutely.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I only leave honest reviews.

It took me quite a while to get attached to this book, but once I was in, I was all in. I put on an all-nighter because I couldn't put it down. I like that, book after book, the characters storie get more and more interesting. I was so into her life story and the way he dealt with the all truth when he got to learn it. How he tried to help her without throwing her past at her face and being there anytime she would call, no matter what.
At first, their friendship was really interesting to read about, but then...the line got blurry. It was impossible, I repeat, IMPOSSIBLE after all they share and the time they spent together, to get them to stay platonic. They are a crazy combination...but they work so well. And the "who did this to you?" moment? Yes, please! It was really good! I would probably pass the things with Cole, I personally think it was too much, but it's okay. Great book!

I felt this book got off to a slow start - but then suddenly I couldn’t put it down. Dani and Dante are from very different worlds. She has been living in Prague stealing to survive and looking out for the 12 year old sister of Gregor the man pulling all the strings. Dante is a rich, very Italian successful F1 driver who is also her brothers best friend. She comes to the uk to steal from her brother but things escalate between her and Dante and the chemistry is off the charts. He understands her like no other. This book makes you laugh and cry and pulls at your heat strings but I absolutely loved it - every one needs a Dante in their lives! This is first in the series I have read but will definitely go back to the others.
I received this as an ARC for an honest review.

It took a bit for me to get into, but once it got going, I did not want to stop reading. Dani had such a hard life, I loved how she did what she needed to in order to survive and try to better her situation. She still had her problems, being manipulated was one and lack of trust another. Once she began to believe in a better world, she gained more strength of character. Dante was egotistical, protective, warm, caring, loving, even when he was not aware. His love and respect for his family made him more wonderful than most. I recommend this story and may look to read the ones before this.

I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
