The Seven Magics Academy is a school for the supernatural, and only admits a select few-including Snow White. Because fairytales are real, but before the happily ever after, there will be blood.
Snow has become her worst nightmare-a blood sucking vampire. But that's the least of her problems. Her seven extraordinarily hot neighbors are throwing her a sixteenth birthday masquerade and she'll have to wear a dress. Despite that, Snow enjoys herself until the leader of the vampire hunters arrives, determined to slay her.
Before he can succeed, Snow is whisked to the time of the original vampires-when Silindra was queen and supernatural creatures freely roamed the earth. Snow knows most of the story, having learned the basics during her training at the academy, but living it is a whole other story.
Snow finds herself in the middle of a war between the original vampire sisters and before she can return to her time, she'll have to find the courage to defeat the most malevolent of all the supernaturals or wind up like Silindra-dead._____

Well first of she's guy jumping. Can't she decide? I liked the coma scene that was good. I liked the back story of the stone. It seems that Gabe has gone mad but will her waking up correct that? They still have a crazy vampire queen to get. How could she be in a coma for 2 years and have no rehab or anything it just seemed like she woke up and then got on with life the next day.

Life is too short to read bad books. And yet I slogged through the first three, hoping the storytelling would develop; sometimes writers become more mature in their storytelling. And honestly, there was some improvement, just not enough to make it worth even finishing the book. I got this as part of the complete omnibus, and man, was that a waste of $1.99 or whatever the deal was.
Premise, great. I'm so all over retold fairy tales, and especially when they're in a totally different world. Vampires, dragons, knight angels, all fantastic fairytale fodder.
Writing, not my cup of tea. Lots of short choppy sentences, and honestly, my own personal quirk of chopping off unnecessary "There are" or "I was" from the beginning of sentences. Sometime sentence fragments do the job. Sometimes, sentences should be more fleshed out. This story definitely needed more flesh, and not in a nsfw way.
But just zero character development. Leaps in relationships without any interaction. Manufactured and repetitive angst and affirmation stated by the characters rather than experienced.
By the middle of the 1st book, I had serious doubts. By the middle of the 2nd book, I was dreading picking it up. By the middle of the 3rd book, I was hoping for the end so I could at least get goodreads credit for a completed book. But when the relationship went from true love epiphany from a kiss and a few loving words while both characters were being stabbed on an altar by some mysterious being for some vaguely described purpose, to marrage with almost no exposition, then suddenly an adoring (adopted/precocious?) child appears, again with a vague "a year passed" description? I put the book down and composed a scathing review before moving on to something that actually deserved to be read.
I was pretty back and forth about the first book, but had felt like the ending brought it together pretty well. I couldn't get past 62% of the way through this one. Without spoiling too much, I just hate when books go back in time and the main character is a whole different person. I was interested in the main character from the first book, and I didn't need the back story of the necklace. What was needed for the necklace to have it's power was enough for me, without having all the details of the way they were obtained. No thank you. Lost interest enough that I won't be finishing it.
Fate and Magic: A Vampire Fairy Tale (Seven Magics Academy Book 2)
Just realized that I read this series before, but it’s so much better the 2nd time around ~ not sure if any changes were made.... I LOVE ❤️ this book. The characters are so incredible, they are growing into there own.
Love, love, love RaShelle Workman. The unexpected humor. The moral lessons, struggles and the love that they share amongs their “family is so beautiful.” This book was so hard to put down, so much going on.....
This was a good action packed journey, with love and betrayal! The heartbreak! This is my 1st time re reading the seven Magic's version and there are differences between the too but not too much, she got more detailed and I love that! I really feel like I'm really a part of the story!
I did not enjoy this book at all. The only reason I’m giving this three stars is because it was good writing. I didn’t like how things were with Gabe at all. I know a year is a long time but but it seemed as if he moved in from her after 5 minutes. I tried to like it but I just couldn’t. I will not be reading any more in the series.

# # # # # # # # # # I cannot handle crappy best friends. It literally ruined the entire book series. It's fine to change love interest, I'll get behind it if it's a good story, but it's insane that you're laying in a coma and your best friend is running around with your boyfriend. I don't care of it it's not your "one true love". You're best friend sucks.
Snow gets more than she ever thought possible on her 16th birthday. After being tracked down and marked for death, Snow is transported into Silindra's mind. What ensues is the most wonderful and exciting part of her journey. It's a little different from the last books but not any less awesome. You have to read this, enjoy!
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and how they came together. I am glad that Snow finally some up and I can't wait to see what will happen next for them.
I liked this book but not as much as I loved the first book. I see the need for going into the past to get background information that I am sure will come in handy for Snow. Parts of that were really interesting. I hope that the next book will tie it all together.
It had more of a story in the first, this one was confusing going back and forth from person to person. I had to re-read some parts a few times to realize I didn't flip forward more than I should have.
I actually really enjoyed this book. Learning about Silindra and seeing the kingdom in her eyes. It also really helped resonate within Snow White and gave her a reason to fight. I love the character development within Snow White
I so enjoy this story. The characters are always evolving and the transformation keeps you guessing and wanting more. Snow White will never be the same. Awesome!!!
Just like book 1 of this series, I could not stop reading and once again had to download book 3 immediately! The story of Snow and various characters kept me engaged! I read entire book in less than my 12 hour shift at work. If you have not read this series yet, what are you waiting for????
