The Heir of Garstwrot

The medieval village of Garstwrot is still and silent and the countryside littered with the dead. Only three men have survived the mysterious plague that decimated the town; the lonely Amis, son of a gong farmer, Fulk, the town's reviled grave master with a checkered past to match and Lord Guain, the handsome and mysterious lord of the keep who is everything but what he seems. But was it really a plague that killed the town, and who is the real master of Garstwrot keep?

When forced to lock themselves up together in its tower, Amis begins to have terrible nightmares that throw everything he's ever known about himself into question. And Lord Guain, while interested in Amis in a more than friendly way, has intentions that are far more sinister than romantic.

The ancient stones come to life at night with demonic howls, as ash falls from the sky and the earth rumbles. On the wind a single name is whispered through its secret passages that hasn't been alive in over four thousand years. And the supernatural with all its fairy tales and stories that had seemed so very far away, has suddenly become very real.

Amis had always believed he'd been born under an unlucky star, but what he was born into was so much worse.
