You will need to make flashcards to learn all of the vocabulary (hundreds). I recommend using Anki, which has a steep curve but has built-in spaced repetition for maximal retention. It is free and there are many tutorials on youtube.

I'm a vet tech and we somewhat frequently have clients who are Spanish-speaking. This book is a great asset for communicating with your clients who are not English-speaking if you work in the medical field.
