Susie is a master of creating characters and plot that will not let me go as a reader. This book is no exception. From the opening scene to the final pages, it's a race to uncover the truth about Ham's relationship with his wife and her relationship with CIA. Throw in a host of wonderful characters, many I've come to know and love through earlier books, and it was a great read! A perfect wrap up to this series. Right mix of romance, mystery, and a taste of suspense.

This series will not disappoint you, I guarantee it. While the whole series was exciting and thrilling this was my favorite of the three part series.
Once you crack open a Susan May Warren book you won't be able to put it down until you're done. This author never disappoints, ever.
A thrilling roller coaster ride you better catch your breath now because once you start reading you won't be able to. This book is packed with action the whole way through, absolutely one thing after another. It'll have

'She recognized his SEAL voice--cool, detached, the one that got business done.'

Sometimes you read a book and you are just completely stumped as to how to write a review worthy of said book. This was such a book. Truthfully, all Susan May Warren's books are much the same. I come away from them changed and not wanting to pick up another book until I've digested this one because it remains in my heart, vibrant and alive, long after the last page is turned.

'Forgiveness is the currency of heaven.'

Goodness! This is another action packed and exciting addition to the Global Search and Rescue series. In this story, we read more of Hamilton Jones' story and see his wife and CIA agent Signe as she is on the run in Europe. Ham and a few of his team are sent to try to find a CIA agent, called Three, who has a list of agents that if it gets in the wrong hands could be bad. It is thought that it might be Signe. As Ham, Orion, and his girlfriend Jenny reach Sicily, a volcano hits the town and every ...more
What a fantastic finish to the Global Search and Rescue series! For that matter, this last book ties up every bit of the intrigue that ran through not only this series, but also the Montana Marshalls series. It was fun to see a few of the characters from that series appear in this book, as well.

This novel was packed with amazing action scenes, especially in Italy. Ham and Signe found themselves not only braving intense physical danger, but also painful emotional trials. Their journey back to eac

Okay, so this book was chock-full of drama, complications, and plot twists. I loved the way Susan May Warren wove the different subplots together to make a powerful finale to the Global Search and Rescue series.

Many of the characters in The Price of Valor were introduced in the previous books, but the focus was on Signe and Hamilton. We get a lot of their history through flashbacks as both characters reflect on events they went through together at various points in their story.

You know those books you've been waiting for since you first read the first book in the series?

Yeah, this is one such for me. And, I loved it. But, I didn't.

See, I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew that there would be a depth of story behind Ham and Signe, I did not expect it to be all of what it was though.

After the seven books that led up to "The Price of Valor" I am not sure if it was just that there were so many things happening or if the ending really was all too sudden tying things up at

Oh wow, was that an on the edge of my seat adventure! I can't remember, did I even breathe while reading this book?! I must have but seriously, it felt like I was holding my breath the whole time. This story is fast paced and just doesn't let up. I found myself surprised a couple of times and I really like that. This is a series you really need to read in order.

One thing I really like about this series is that it follows several characters in each book. While this book give focus to Ham and Sign

What a ride this book was! If you thought the first two in the series were fast-paced, this one is even more. So many twists and turns.

This is Ham's story. He's the one who had a big surprise in book 2 when he discovered he had a 10-yo daughter. He hasn't seen his wife in a long, long time, but he wants her back. He goes after her to Italy and brings his team to try and solve a conspiracy, and that's when the problems start.

The last few chapters are edge-of-your-seat! Definitely read books 1 a

Wow! How can so much action happen in one book? Susan May Warren does it again! When I pick up a book of hers I know I am in for a one of a kind treat. And not the kind that you want to devour, but the kind you want to savor as long as possible. The Price of Valor was unlike any other book I have read. The two main characters not only knew each other, but they were married! Not that they had seen one another, as Ham believed her to be dead, seeing the bombing of the place she was in himself. I’m on the fence here, after the last book in this series I was done, but I had the opportunity to read this and so have it a go. These books are very much written for the series addict. There’s no way you could pick up one of these stories and not have read at least the entire last series the author writes or even the one before. This book is jam packed full of Marshall’s characters and some from the Mountain SAR series.

The high adrenaline moments take off from the very beginning and

So intense! Just when I think Susan May Warren can't possibly write these characters out of an all-hope-is-lost scenario, she does it again. The Price of Valor is another wonderful novel crafted by the master of epic suspense. Dire stakes, a terrifying natural disaster, and evil antagonists all conspire against Ham, Signe and a cast of characters we've come to know and love throughout various novels. This plot will keep you on the edge of your seat, while the deeply emotional and inspirational l ...more

Another intense and full of adventures and suspense read by author Susan May Warren, “The Price of Valor” (Revell), features a very special hero, a fierce man of action and faith who will push sometimes the boundaries of credibility with his strange yet very compelling mix of goodness, power of forgiveness, strength and competence.

Ham and his team is special but certainly the unwavering faith of Ham. This book if full of trouble and people to bring into perspective of God.

When Ham decides to go after his wife he brings his team and what a team they are but they aren't infallible just human. Reading this will have you looking at the troubles a bit differently.

I enjoyed every second. I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review

I always lose track of the exact number of Susan May Warren books I’ve read but I’ve read every single one of her fiction books and always eagerly await her next release. This one I was especially anxious for because I have been intrigued by Ham since he first appeared in the Montana Marshalls series. I really love his character, the way he truly lives out his faith never letting the trails he’s gone through break his trust in God was absolutely inspiring. There’s one twist and turn after another in the third and final installment of the Global Search and Rescue series. It’s full of heart stopping action that will keep you turning the pages long past your bedtime. The Price of Valor focuses on Ham Jones, the leader of the team, and his search for his long lost love, Signe. There’s international intrigue, tender family moments, and the overarching love story with Signe that has spanned decades. And what a love story it is. I’ve liked all the male c ...more

Another thrilling offering from suspense pro Susan May Warren. While writing this review of Price of Valor, I had to go back and check my reviews of Warren’s previous books to make sure I wasn’t using the same lavish praise phrases, but you could read any of my reviews of any of her books and apply it to Price of Valor, because her books are just that consistently good and I loved this book just as much as all her other books.

What do you think of when you hear the word “Valor?”
Well, after this series of books I will always think of Hamilton Jones!
The definition of the word is:
“Great courage in the face of danger, especially in battle.”
This truly describes Ham and his team. They are individuals who will go above and beyond the call of duty to protect and find answers.

Once again, Susan May Warren has penned a story that is impossible to put down once you’ve picked it up. I don’t even open one of her books now unless I know I have a couple of free hours ahead of me to devote to reading, because she reels me in, hook, line, and sinker, every time. Global Search and Rescue #3

This contemporary romance novel continues with another saga of high rescue mission during a devastating catastrophe. The latest drama picks up a few loose threads from Marshall Family and deepens them along the way. The main players are Ham Jones, a former Navy DEAL, with his wife Signe, a CIA operative. We also have the participation of Orion and Jake with their sidekicks, the much loved heroes from the previous stories. The rescue drama takes place in beautiful Sicil

THE PRICE OF VALOR (Global Search and Rescue Book #3) is a seriously loaded High Intensity Drama! Author Susan May Warren closes out this Series with a no holds barred adventure where the stakes are higher than anyone even dares to imagine! One of the main features I like about Warren’s writing is that she seamlessly includes characters from her past Series into this one and how well they interact with each other. I have recently become a fan of Susan May Warren's books. In just this year, I have read a few of her series and have gotten hooked on her books.

The Global Search and Rescue Series may be one of her most exciting series. Unfortunately, it appears this is only a three-book series.

The Price of Valor centers on the leader of the Global Search and Rescue group, Hamilton (Ham) Jones, and his CIA agent wife who he recently found out was alive with the fact that he was the father of a 10 year old da

Such a high adrenaline rush of suspense and action! It starts on the very first page and doesn't stop until the end. Ham and his team experience one threat after another both from natural disasters and terrorists.

I was so invested in the characters and in their getting a happy ending that it was impossible to put this book down, however, I did not enjoy it as much as the first two books in the series. Some of the plot line was just too unbelievable for me despite being in such suspense. Signe w

Wow! No one can end a series like Susan May Warren! She always brings so much faith, excitement and weaves such a thrilling ending. In fact, the whole story was fast paced, so much so, I had to take a break several times. And she brought back so many familiar characters and wove them into the story seamlessly.
Most of all, I loved that Susan May Warren gave Ham the attributes of God that he demonstrated to Signe. He forgave repeatedly, he never gave up on her, he helped and guided her, he forgave

Wow . . . just wow! This book is fast paced and kept my heart racing most of the time I was reading.

Ham is a former SEAL who lost the love of his life, Signe when she was kidnapped by a terrorist warlord ten years earlier. Ham and Signe had been childhood friends and then more and married on a whim. He never stopped loving her and when he finally got the chance to go after her, he jumped at it. Two months earlier, she had shown up with Aggie, his ten year old daughter, who he didn't even know e

Susan May Warren outdid herself in the third installment of her Global Search and Rescue series, The Price of Valor. And even though I have loved all of Warren’s books, this one is by far my favourite of the series. Here, we finally wrap up the loose ends created in the first two books and delve into Hamilton and Signe’s story. It is one of heartache, fear, struggle, but also enduring survival. I thought the blurb of this book was really interesting and story itself was great. but I did feel that this should really be labelled as a faith-based romance as well as romantic suspense. If you are not religious, I am not a believer in religion myself, you may struggle to get your way through this book, even though the story itself is first-rate.

I hadn't read any of the other books in the series or books by this author so I did kind of fall in blind and that's my own fault for not researching
