This beautifully illustrated, colourful book is a lovely way to explain Crohn's and colitis to children, whether they have Crohn's or colitis themselves or know someone else who does. The concept of the cats makes it much less scary and easy to understand and there are animations and colouring downloads on the charity's website too. ...more

A really lovely story which explains complex conditions in a simple and understandable way. This book would be good for children who have Crohn's or Colitis or live with a parent/carer who does, or even for people who aren't sure how these conditions affect people and want to find out in a more digestible way. It does a great job of making invisible conditions visible. Plus, the illustrations are adorable! :) ...more

Very good, helped us explain my husbands disease to our young son. Which we were unsure how to go about doing. But this explained it clearly enough without going into too much depth.
