Change of Taste

I usually love this authors work and jump on Amazon to purchase her next book when I hear it’s out, but I’m beginning to think I need to just stop. The biker series she had was a complete turn off and made me sick just trying to read it and now I’m feeling disinterested in the leopard series if this is the route she’s going to continue with. Feehan needs to seriously go to one of the clubs she writes about and experience bondage in her personal life considering that’s all she writ
Leopard’s Rage by Christine Feehan is the thirteenth book in the Leopard series. It combines paranormal romance and supernatural suspense in a contemporary setting near Austin, Texas. Leopard shifter Sevastyan Amurov is a bodyguard to Mitya Amurov, his cousin. Sevastyan has a deep anger inside of him and has to maintain control at all times. The reasons are many, but to understand one needs to read the book. Flambe Carver has her own landscaping company and is on her way to discuss a job at ...more

It’s incredible that this is the 12th book in the series and Leopard’s Rage continues the extraordinary saga in Christine Feehan’s Leopard series.

The couple in this story are Sevastyan Amurov, enforcer and bodyguard of newly re-formed Amurov lair. Sevastyan, like his make cousins, he is a powerful leopard shifter but unlike his cousins, Sevastyan harbors a deep-seared rage that is threatening to consume him.

The heroine is Flambé Carver, successful business owner, master landscaper, extremely r

Leopard's Rage is the newest addition in the Leopard People series and we are now at book 12 and I can't believe how this series has grown. I will be honest in that some of the books in this series aren't my favorite but I have enjoyed it. But I have adapted to how

"Leopard's Rage" is the story of Flambe and Sevastyan.

Our new addition to the Leopard People series is the mating of our hero, an Amur leopard who has gone through excessive torture in the past and who is the cousin to Mitya. We met him in the previous books, and here we see his leopard finally getting restless, until we meet our heroine- a strawberry leopard who has our own agendas. Instead of the series following the usual female rising with the Van Hol Dan, this time around we have this unlik

Another recycled story line folks. Nothing new here. Lots of sex with a time out to fight Rolan who is the last remaining Russian father/uncle out to destroy them. The break didn't last very long. More important to get back to erotic Shibari rope tying. Yep, we've seen that before in the Shadow Riders with Ricco and Mariko. I now know more about that than I ever cared.

Flambe (WTH) is running an underground railroad for abused shifter women. A bit like Drake Donovan here.

Also Flambe was sent out
This was a tough one for me. It started out with the heronine's name, Flambe. I loathe it, like, really really loathe it, which honestly distracted me from the story each time it was said. This probably made me not like Flambe in a way, but she didn't make it any easier to like her. She was very cold to Sevastyan, really only connecting with him when they had sex, which seemed like was every other page. I was so so on Sevastyan, who was so alpha/dom it was crazy. Everything was my way or the hig ...more

Too much

I don't normally leave reviews but I hate submissive do what the man says when you barely know each other story lines. Too degrading too much sex and not enough story. This didn't feel tasteful, just frustrating and disgust. I had to walk away a couple of times before giving up and not finishing. I like her leopard line but have enjoyed none of explorations of master\submissive. If you're going to write this, characters need to be extra special and likeable. This was not it.

This book was not working for me so I am just going to stop. The characters were just ok. I never felt the connection between them. Lust, yes but not much love. The overall story wasn’t very interesting for me either, it was mostly just a lot of sex with somewhat repetitive conversations in-between/during the sex.

Nearly from the first chapter and everyone that followed this book seemed to be about sex. I know being leopard's the female does go into heat and the male needs to assert his ownership and keep other unmated males away but it seems that is what this entire book was about. The other plots didn't occur until nearly 70% done with the novel.
I love Christine Feehan she is by far one of my favorite authors but honestly didn't really like this story.

Okay Folks I thought I would never have to write a review of this sort. But No matter how much I love and like the author Christine Feehan someone has to to tell the truth.

Leopard's Rage is a story of Sexual Depravity. Our lead Female Flambe Caver's character is a Nymphomaniac. She picks up Strange men in bars for One Night Stands. She is a Strawberry Breed of Leopard which is raw and hunted by humans for there pelts. But even with the reasons of why she is sexual depraved isn't good enough to o

My review of Leopard's Rage:

Leopard's Rage is a very sexy read. Sevastyan, and Flambe set the pages on fire as they find their way to each other. But, they both have doubts as they experience their first lifecycle. Is she my mate? Is he my mate? Did I make a mistake in my choice of a mate? We get to experience the misunderstanding between our couple brought about by their mutual childhood abuse, as well as their personal feelings of inadequacy, that have closed th

By far, this was one of the most unique Christine Feehan novels I have read.

Sevastyan is an Amurov leopard, with a taste for violence and darkness. His father raised him to be a killer, and life has formed him into a fierce protector of one of the few people in this world he cares about, Mitaya. As a release for the darkness, Sevastyan engages in the art of Shibari, a form of Japanese bondage play in sexual acts. It gives him a sense of control,

Finished this amazing book last night. Loved both Sevastyan & Flambé so much. But I blamed Shibari for my rating of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ instead of Five Amazing Stars.

Skipping skimming through roping scenes gave me more insight into Flambé's character. I understood her past and appreciated how she lived her life at present. She learned all she needed about male shifters from her dick of a dad, who kicked her out of the house when she was only seven years old, so he could have more room to dick around with d

Flambe is a strawberry leopard, This is an erotica story with shifters This is a dominant and a submissive. There is bondage with a rope. A rope that van be used for beauty, not just the sexual side. Leopards and love…

I was so happy to start reading Sevastyan’s story! He and his brother leopards continued to build a new future for their families, each one finding their other despite all the danger they faced. They wore both black and white hats (I like to think the white was the larger) so convincing someone of their true intent while hiding it at the same time was more than difficult. Sevastyan’s love wasn’t going to be an easy one to win over (none of them have been!) but he wasn’t a prote

This is another winner in this series. This paranormal romance is recommended to readers who enjoy a bit of spice to their romance, dominated by an alpha male and a female who may or may not submit.

Sevastyan and Flambe’s story is the latest addition to Christine Feehan’s Leopard Series. And what an addition it is!

The Lore goes that these leopard shifters find mates over nine lifetimes, each becoming easier to recognize each other, knowing when they found their mate.
Not only are Sevastyan and Flambe’s leopards both choosing to mate for the first time, which makes the relationship tentative, both unsure of themselves and each other, but throw in their pasts, the voices of those they know

Each of their group were raised by evil brutal men so at a young age, they learned that harsh way of life. Leopards's Rage is a fabulously gritty, marvelously raw, and so very real story that will make your heart hurt and soar. It will steal your attention and hold you captive as it seeps into your very soul. Nothing will tear you away from the provacative storyline as you lose yourself within its unforgettable and heart-wrenching soul filled with fierce love and heart pounding terror.

Sevastyan had survived a cruel and unforgiving upbringing to become an impossibly hard and demon driven man. He live

Full Disclosure, this is the 12th book in a series that I did try to get into, but lost interest in after the 2nd or 3rd book, so much of the back story in Leopard's Rage felt confusing; I'm assuming previous books in the series set up some of the plot for Leopard's Rage, specifically that of Sevastiyan's history.

Parts of Leopard's Rage pulled me in while other parts pushed me away. I found myself skipping many scenes either because they felt like just more graphic sex that didn't really suppor

The Leopard People series is my favorite after Dark Guardian series :) The characters are fun and the bed scens are smocking hot. Leopard's Rage was a fun but strugling read. Feehan had Sevastyan dominace to the max. Excelent writing. I really enjoyed Sevastyan and Flambe journey. Although Flambe and Flamme (her leopard) are names I was struggling with while reading this book. It felt more balanced as Flambe was struggling with her emotions and vulnerability as much as Sevastyan.

This is one of the most erotic stories I have read from Feehan I believe but it is very well written. Sevastyan needs to keep his anger at bay and going to erotica clubs helps that. Flambe is wanted by many but something about Sevastyan’s leopard and Flambe’s leopard connects and that is it. Flambe spends her time helping female leopards out of abusive relationships so how will she deal with the way Sevastyan deals. And then add a stalker to the mix and y

Flambe has been on her own in the middle of a crowd most of her life. Hiding the true extent of her loneliness, she is not willing to trust male leopards for any reason. On the verge of her first shift, her leopardess is demanding selecting a mate and uses Flambe's own desires and the first convenient time to get the one she wants.

Sevastyan and his leopard have been battling their own rage for years. When Flambe appears, running for her life from an attacker, he jumps at the chance to mate, esp

Sevastyan and Flambe are both highly sensuous Leopard People. Each has a unique ability and power that make them perfect mates for one another.
