I won this book in a goodreads drawing.

A girl finds a stone staircase in her locker. As she descends, she finds another girl and a Chinese boy. Somehow, they end up in a Nazi POW camp in Arizona.

A bit odd.

Weird

Four teens embark on adventure because they share a number in some way. They switch generations and find themselves in a POW camp in Arizona where they become servants to the military. Youth triumphs as youth will and an engaging story unfolds. I received this book from Goodreads for free.

I would classify this more as a YA/Middle School read. The story was bizarre and bounced around too much to keep me interested. There were too many characters and side stories to get the reader involved. It could have been much better.

Fascinating concept for a book. I loved the writing style and the character development was excellent. It’s a page turner for sure! I definitely recommend!

This book is more for a younger crowd. My middle-schooler would definitely enjoy this book. I will pass it on to her.

Only made it a few pages into this before I moved on to a different read. I may revisit it in the future but for now it's a DNF.
