DRR Day 1 B3

Basically the moral of the story is to have open communication with your partners. Sure they're still a murderous psychopath and two snuff filmmakers who torture & kill people once in awhile.

But yeah, talk to your partner about your problem and don't hide secrets (or dead bodies in the wood) from them. Instead let's kill them together.

I have a bad experience reading a book with Iniquity in the title.

No babies being hurt please. Let that be the line.

With Iniquity, we are back at the chateau alongside Helena and her lovers Declan and Ethan.
Helena who is still adorably different as well as mad as a box of frogs but is now also much more practised in deciphering and owning her own emotions.
She still does struggle with the whole empathy and emotional side of things but she is definitely evolving and growing in all things.
Also, Declan and Ethan both have there own worries that they are keeping close to there chest and Helena is also keeping secrets.
This is M/M/F the second book in this trio's story and you do need to read that one first.
In fact, I would suggest starting at the beginning here just to get the whole experience.
This was as usual hot as hades and as you can imagine completely psychotic, gruesome and as morally reprehensible as its predecessors and I inhaled the whole disturbing saga like air.
I adore this series but please be aware that it is also totally messed-up and doesn't hold back at all.
I enjoyed Iniquity and it gets a torturous thumbs-up from moi.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Iniquity (Dahlia Saga Book 5).

....I have been waiting ages for the next book in this series!! Now I do recommend you read the other book to this couple.. or read all to understand the series.. and couples.. and fucked up family. Now this isnt a happy fluff.. unless you love dark read then maybe lol.

We are back with the threesome couple of Helena, Declan and Ethan. Their perfect twisted world Is well perfect for the moment. But two are keeping secrets from their partners.

Helena still learning about life and what's right and wrong in their world.. shes still not all their.. has one huge secret and she doesn't know how to inform her men, but she did make sure no one could take away her new family when she hacked up a guy asking to many questions. About her family. So she Fixed him ;) Theirs also a long lost sister? Who isnt really her sister and that has Ethan digging more. Who this person is. He also wondering why Declan is being secretive? I'll be honest I thought his secret would be bigger lol but bless it wasnt bad. 🤣🤣🤣

Like bab said they should have sat down and talked lol then all this secretive stuff wouldn't happen lol

We also get moments with past couples and a hint of a new couple ;) Luca is next.. wonder if he finally got rid of that cheating wife. :0 that caused lots of problems.

Low agnst, no ow/om drama, no cheating, secondary charas, Drama, Sexy times, No virgins

Title: Iniquity
Series: Dahlia Saga 5 - Sequel to Depravity (Dahlia Saga 3)
Characters: Helena, Declan & Ethan

Dark Erotic Romance 🖤

Review by: Chari from Marrybooksblog

This is the continuation of the unconventional relationship of Helena, Declan and Ethan which begins in Depravity.

While I'm reading this, since Violent scenes are graphically describe, I can't help imagining and to compare it to the movie Hostel, in all honesty.

This book fall for HFN, since there will be Book 6,which the story of Declan's Father. (Luca Andreou : Debauchery).

Natalie Bennett is one of my Dark Romance queen 👑, I love how she created unlikely female character, that will truly match to her heroes. The Dark gritty and dangerous world of MCs that she created for her reader's enjoyment. 👍

🖤🖤❤️♥️❤️🖤🖤❤️♥️❤️🖤🖤❤️♥️❤️🖤🖤❤️♥️❤️🖤🖤❤️♥️❤️

"Declan and Ethan were my moon and sun. My world wouldn’t make sense without one or the other."

"Madness ran in our blood. It was intoxicating high we would always chase and feed."

"Helena. Katie. Morgana. Do you know what they all have in common?”

“They’re tragedies, wronged by everyone who was ever supposed to love them. We are monsters, shamelessly so. No one should love us. But they do.”

Helena, Declan, and Ethan are back! No relationship is perfect and being in a relationship with two other people can be challenging. Helena definitely lacks emotions, morals, empathy and sometimes she gets stuck in her own head and forgets to communicate with her partners.
That’s really the moral of the story here.
She’s got a stalker who is trying to claim that they know her and her original family. Only shit happens and she ends up murdering the guy. She doesn’t say anything and just tries to clean up the mess herself.
“Our family embraced the Darkside. Madness ran in our blood. It was an intoxicating high we would always chase and feed.”

The beautiful thing with Declan and Ethan are they love Helena unconditionally. And she has developed feelings back which are still very new to her.

“I never understand emotions, there’s such complicated things. But you’ve made me feel so many of them. You helped me see I am more than a sickness. Because of you, I know I can be strange and different, and someone will love me no matter what. “

We see some of Helenas “work” in the red room. Lmao.
She’s just a crazy bitch.
And her beautiful beautiful men encourage her to be just who she is meant to be.

There is of course hot throuple sex.
I’m always here for that. 😜

Without a doubt this is one of my favourite authors. She takes me places I never even thought that I would wanna go. Each book I read from her I feel I’m on a journey with her.

Iniquity is another amazing read by Natalie. Make sure you’ve read Depravity before you’ve read this story. I was super excited to read more of Helena, Declan and Ethan.

Lock yourself in tight and jump on this crazy rollercoaster.

Seriously can’t wait to read more from this author.

Iniquity is the second book to Depravity. We are back with our couple Helena, Declan and Ethan. Although there twisted world is somewhat perfect for the time being, two characters are harbouring secrets from one another due to not wanting to hurt each other.

Our Little Fixer is still learning who she is, about her life and what’s right and what is wrong in the new world she is living In with her two men. Although the one thing that she does know is that she will do anything to protect the two men that she has grown to love and become comfortable with.

Secrets will be revealed and decisions will be made! Although I was expecting some of the secrets to be bigger then what they were. In a way I am glad they weren’t because I might not have been able to handle it.

I really enjoyed this book and coming back into this world of characters and this dysfunctional family. These characters are absolutely made for one another and will do anything to stay together.

I definitely look forward to the other books this author has planned for in this world.

I can not get enough of the Andreou"s . Love reading Declan, Ethan and Helena story. And they are still as dark and twisted as I love about them. Like I said can't get enough of them. I'm so looking forward to the next one of the Andreou"s to tell their story.

I was worried when I saw this companion novel because I really did not want these characters to break up or have life threaten their HEA. Luckily that does not happen and there is no inevitable breakup. Helena continues to fix things and be accepted by her men. Of course when she starts having secrets the guys know they need to get to the bottom of it and quick. There was a little bit of a communication snafu but considering nothing came of her silence and the guys just accepted what happened, it really wasn't an issue. While I can't see this trio starting a family, I do like that they got a dog as a starter to really test Helena's urge to fix things, the dog is unbelievably obsessed with her even when she's drawing blood and causing screams. Really enjoyed this shortish duet. I def want to go back and read Katie's story. This was just as dark and gruesome so if you made it through book one this will be a breeze.

description

This is a continuation of this bloody and dark Dahlia saga and the story of Helena, Declan, and Ethan. You should read the prior stories in this series to really have an understanding of what Dahlia is and at the very least read Depravity. That is where we meet these characters and become introduced to Helena's way of "fixing" things and the ways in which Declan and Ethan foster her darkness.

This series, in general, is really not for the faint of heart. There is lots of blood, a number of messed up scenarios and above all darkness and depravity. In this chapter, someone is threatening Dahlia and our characters need to get to the bottom of it. Helena struggles with understanding humans and she doesn't take too kindly to someone threatening her family. Declan and Ethan both have things going on that they need to work out to figure out where they go from here.

This book was sexy in a bloody and raw type of way. We also saw a little bit of the other characters who make up this crazy family. There was some things left unfinished and I can only assume the conclusions to the unfinished business will be seen in the next books in this series. Regardless, I am all in, this crazy family and disturbing place calls to my black heart and I can't get enough.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

I was born with a sickness that can't be cured, and I've been getting better at slowly getting worse. I am no longer single, no longer lonely. I have Declan, Ethan, and the Andreous too. They nurtured my sickness, cultivated, and molded it so I could control it. For a short time, things were close to perfect, but we've all been keeping secrets. And when the truth comes to light, all we'll be left with is bloody lullabies and soft decay.

If you have not read Depravity you need to go back and do that now. This is the Sequel to that book and if you have read it you know you were left sort of hanging. Also, I need to warn you that this book is dark and just bloody. But so good. I loved it. I loved spending more time with Declan and Ethan and Helena. These are some seriously messed up people but hey we all need to be loved and loved each other they did. I don't want to give away any of this story. If you like dark romances then you just need to read this one and enjoy it. I loved and think you will too.

Ahh my heart screams for these characters. This series is what made me love natalie bennett as in author. And this is the one series i recommend most to any dark romance reader. This book follows Duncan, Ethan and Helena again and I find my self loving them more than anyone in the series at the moment. Helena reminds me of myself. The darkness, and wickedness of this series and book will make you want more. Read it, kill for it. Bathe in your victims blood while turning each pages because its that good.

Helena, Declan and Ethan (Depravity) are my favs from the Dahlia Saga, so it was fun to see where they are at and how they’re settling into their relationship. Without giving any more away than what is in the blurb ~ They are good and yet they still have things that they need to work out and a few of them come to the forefront here, but things got dealt with accordingly.

This book also gives us a little intro to the next book in the series ~ which, even without the tease, I am totally down for because I’ve been dying to see how this particular situation would get dealt with after first meeting the characters involved many moons ago.

Note: This is not a stand-alone. Starting at the beginning of the series is the most ideal, but if that isn’t an option, then reading Depravity first is an absolute must!

I will never tire of Helena, Declan, and Ethan. These three have a beautiful madness to them that just feels my dark little heart. I loved getting more of all three of them!

Helena has changed a lot since Depravity. She's still this innocent sick depraved woman, but she's more settled now. Declan and Ethan have given her more than anyone else has and showed her love she's never felt before.

Love is madness. Iniquity lets us feed on that madness.

unpopular opinion this bored most of the time, this was more sex then dark, found myself skimming and skipping paragraphs, felt very repetitive and I actually didn't see the point of the book at all.
It didnt show anything new, didn't give any new insights into the 3 characters or anyone else just what we already knew with some more sex. Don't even get the conclusion or any answers to his mother? I'm not sure what the whole. point of this one in the series was to achieve and I don't think the series would of been lacking had it not been put it 🤷‍♀️
Yes there was some dark scenes that I love NB books for and when they are good they are twisted at the best! (Shes actually one of the best dark writers that I've ever come across) but they were far and few 🤷‍♀️
actually disappointed considering how much of a Huge Natalie Bennett fan I am.

"There is no fun in life without some crazy" words to live by when reading Natalie Bennett. The book was great ( sorry I'm bias I enjoy almost everything she writes) I loved that Helena finally stepped out of the shell, some. The love she Ethan and Delcan share is pure and true, love it. Read the series it's great. Can't wait for book 6 xoxo

We're all a little sick. And there's nothing anyone can do to change that.

This is the book I have been waiting for since Depravity. Depravity was my favorite book of last year. I loved everything about that story. The dynamic between Helena, Declan, and Ethan was everything. When I finished that book, I was so hoping that there would be a continuation of their story. I just couldn't get enough of those characters. When I found out there was going to be, I may have gotten a little excited...

This series contains the stories of the Andreous and their Chateau Dahlia. And in case you couldn't tell, I am beyond obsessed with this family.

The Andreous had malice swimming through their veins. They were unashamedly obscene, flat out depraved. But no matter how malevolent they tended to be you'd never find a family more genuinely loyal and devoted to one another.

Even though I love each of the stories in this series, scenes and books with this depraved triad are by far my favorite. I wasn't sure where this story was going to go after Depravity. I was hoping it wouldn't be overly angsty and jump the shark and thank fuck, it wasn't and didn't. This story is basically detailing how the throuple have settled into their everyday life with one another.
Declan's and Ethan's love for Helena is everything and their love for each other...*le sigh*
They had found a way to incorporate Helena's need to "fix" things into their shows. And don't think I didn't bookmark the part after that one show in the book. Who would have thought seeing your SO covered in blood would turn you on so? Declan obviously.

I don't know what that says about me that I enjoyed that scene a bit too much but so not sorry. And that isn't the only hot as fuck scene in this book. I was not disappointed in that area at all.

There was a bit of drama but eh, nothing of much note. And honestly, I didn't give a shit. I could just read a full novel about them just living day by day. That's how much I love these three. I do have to point out there were a few anomalies in the story (Helena's hair color change? and a few grammatical errors) but I can look past those. The epilogue left a little to be desired though. As always, I wanted more. It seemed a bit rushed and left me with some questions.

Hopefully, in further stories, I can catch a glimpse into how their story continues.

Iniquity : The Dahlia Saga Book 5 by Natalie Bennett

Five Full Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
World Building 🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍
Characters 👍👍👍👍👍
Storytelling ✍️✍✍️✍️✍️
WARNING: This is a dark dark read and isn’t for the faint hearted.

This has elements of dark and macabre elements and understanding it’s fiction, I was ok with that.

What I liked most about the series to date, is how the author humanised the abnormal traits behaviour of the main female characters.

Morgana was a cutter and a schizophrenic,
Katie-Kat, I don’t know what label is applied to her, but she had deep seated dark tendencies,
Helena has alexithymia, an inability to express emotion and empathy. She is my favourite.

The men in their lives, Julian, Mason, Declan are from the Andreou family, and Ethan. Their family business is streaming snuff. Torture. For the most part, these guys are sane, just slightly off kilter. The women they fall for are “perfect in their imperfections”.

Bennet handled the tragic start of these girls lives and evolved them into strong women who eventually embraced themselves and learned to love their uniqueness. No one more so than Helena. In book 5 we get to see how much she has grown. Speaking to Declan, she says ...

“Because of you, I know I can be strange and different, and someone will love me no matter what.”

Declan’s reply ...

“You don’t need to be anyone other than who you are right now. You’ve always made sick look beautiful”

That says it all. I really enjoyed reading the series.

Received ARC from Author for Honest Review.
I Give this Book a 4(?)/5 Star Rating, Even though I might think it’s a 3.5/5 for Helena, Ethan & Declan actually being center stage.

HEA(?): Yes
But its the ending epilogue that is a Cliffy for Luca’s book DEBAUCHERY, I really anticipate that cause ‘universe wise,’ there is a cliffhanger.
Dark: 3.5-4/5
Romance: 3.5-4/5
Heat: 5/5
Drama: 5/5
Suspense: 5/5

Ok... so when you close the book and ‘look’ back at what you’ve read, I feel like it was mainly for ‘bonus sex scenes in a way’ and the main story felt out of focus and this was way too fast of a read and feels very very unfinished.
Side characters seemed almost too important and sadly this book didn’t feel like it should’ve been Helena’s, the plot to me dimmed down the strength of their relationship that was apparent in the first book.
To me she felt kinda discarded in a way, POV wise and in the book she’s is so pale she looked like an apparition. Ironically that’s what she seemed like to me, until she became important in specific areas.
Drama was pushed into their relationship yet was easily resolved.
Ethan seemed like a completely different character than their first book, as well as Declan who seemed completely different as well but mainly in the first half.

This IS A good Book and a very important one, I sincerely hope they get another book. Would LOVE a Third Book with Helena, Declan & Ethan!

INIQUITY brings us back to Helena, Declan and Ethan – the trio infernale. More of the unconventional and depraved relationship they share, more delicious effed-up-ness and all the dark twisty goodness – hell to the yes! GIMME!!

Oohh, Helena. She is still her own kind of mad, sick and her very own brand of monster. She is still struggling with all things emotions and empathy and yet she blossomed so much in this story. Her sickness matches Declan’s and Ethan’s to a T. This twisted thruple truly is a match made in heaven – or hell, for that matter.

The story is told from each of their POVs, meaning you get to be in the crazy-mad mind of each of them. They are each scary places in their own right, yet so insightful, so helpful with understanding the desires and motivations of every single one of them. It’s not healthy, their obsession for one another – and yet their devotion for one another can be felt through the pages. It feels real. Honest. True.

Their story is gruesome, bloody and psychotic. Morally appalling and disturbing and wrong on countless levels. Yet it’s compelling and emotional and freaking brilliant – a dark disturbing romance that takes no prisoners and pushes boundaries like no others. I soaked it up and really wouldn’t be that unhappy if we got another book about our infamous trio. Hint, hint, hint!

Communication is key 🤐

Change is happening at the Dahlia house and our triad is still learning how best to make their relationship dynamics work
Declan is, and will always be an overprotective highly possessive dominant horse's backside. But for his loves, he is trying to find a middle ground. Somewhere between the gilded cage and complete freedom - maybe clipped wings?
Ethan our sweet little deviant knows things are off. He has his secrets and like Declan, he too worries about their sweet Helena. She is changing, growing.
For the better? Or?
She has not hinted at a problem, yet something is wrong.

Helena just wants to fix things.
I fell in love with her innocence and the twisted way she viewed the world in book one.
Now she has grown.
She still fixes - bless her ❤ heart.
But she is also growing, feeling.
She will protect her new family...
At any cost
She can fix it

A quick note
This is full of twisted humor, rivers of crimson, death and lots of other graphically dark content
So if that isn't your cuppa I would sit this journey out
Also, this is part of a series so to get the maximum impact with all the spine-tingling shivers and eye scrunching, tummy rolling reactions I suggest you start at the beginning.
See you on the other side :)

The Dahlia Saga is easily one of my favorite series written by Natalie. It's dark, mind spinning, super hot and so brutally descriptive. The characters are always one step darker then you expect. You just never what what to expect to take place at the Chateau. This lastest installment you get a more in-depth story of Declan and Ethan. You learn a bit more about just how crazy Declan and his family are or rather, why they are this way.

Going into this one, Helena's character really grew on me. She completely fits in with the activities at The Chateau and WOW!!!, those moments with Ethan and Declan. Like totally melt your pages right off your screen hot and leaving you phanting for more kinda hot. What can I say other then Helena is not what she appears and is a very new level of dark and twisted. I think she can easily five Declan and Ethan a run for their money and always keeps them on their toes.

The Dahlia Saga is not stand alones, so do yourself a favor and start from the Twisted beginning of how it all started with Book One. This book, along with the others, are quick, mind blowing dark reads. They're absolutely fantastic!!!
