Jan 19, 2020 rated it it was amazing
I enjoyed this book so much because it felt so honest. It made me uncomfortable at time in the best of ways. It let me know that I am not alone in the things that anger me, the things that sadden me , at times it made me feel proud; of my blackness, of my woman-ness. Made me what to protect/fight for my blackness and my woman-ness. It reminded me of the work that has to still happen & The work that has made space for a book like dayliGht to exist.
